Sony HT-G700: 3.1CH Dolby Atmos/DTS:X Soundbar with Bluetooth Technology

This is like getting a new toy that you wonder why you didn't get one sooner. The sound bar has excellent bass and the subwoofer is perfect in all aspects. Easy to use and easy to hookup to your TV with plenty of options to meet your needs. The remote is simple to use and very easy to adjust the settings as needed wether listening to music or your favorite movie.

Very happy with the surround sound. I use it with Sony Bravia TV and tried both A2dp Bluetooth and HDMI eARC. I use it mostly for sound and not the video features. But I did test the video features by connecting Amazon 4k Fire stick directly to the soundbar and it transmitted the video to the TV without any hitches and all promised features work great. Bass didn't feel impactful immediately but after fiddling with some audio settings and cranking subwoofer level all the way up it started kicking in nice. Subwoofer really is effective above certain volume and for low frequencies. Not bad for 6 and half inches drive. It supports Dolby atmos and all other Dolby and DTS audio and video formats. With all the available features at 249 it's really very good value for money. Surround sound is great even for regular YouTube content and piano sounds and soft music sound sublime. Also remember sound depends on room size and room reverberations. With right settings for my room I was able to find my best sound spot. Delivery was through USPS and package was handled with care. Very good value for the price.

This thing is perfect for my needs. I have it hooked up to a tv on my office and provides great sound for me. Love that the sub woofer is wireless so there are no speaker wires running to it. I got this off a clearance sale for $249 so can't beat the price, especially when it was originally $599.

seriously disappointed in this sound bar. bought it to replace my 10-year-old LG and sad to say that the old one sounds better. I guess it would be okay if you were only watching TV or movies but if you care about music at all do not buy this. the subwoofer is trash, says it's 100 Watts, BS. the 33 watt LG subwoofer from my old unit hits twice as hard. now I have to unhook and repack all of this crap up so I can take it back. always always listen in person before buying, most of these reviews are bought and paid for. don't make the same mistake I did.
