Wonderful head set! Very happy with my purchase

Issam December 26, 2020

Would be more comfortable if they were a bit more loose but overall they are great. The convenience of a completely wireless head set and great sound with seamless connectivity make these very worth it. I have gotten great feedback from buddies that Ive been gaming with about how clear my voice sounds. Absolutely love this head set.

Really good headphones for price.

Kahn February 11, 2021

I really love these headphones because they fit perfectly on my head/ears and feel like nothings on my head. The comfort for me is a 10/10 but I've seen people complain online about the fitting. If these don't fit, then I can 100% see why you would return them. Onto sound... I think the sound on these are good for the price but nothing that's going to blow you away. The 3D sound is really good for games that utilize it. However, my issue with the sound is the lack of bass and loudness. These issues are not huge for me because I don't care much for crazy bass on gaming headphones or them blowing my ears off but I know a bunch of people value those components. If you want something with Bass, I would not recommend. Otherwise. these are perfect!

Awesome for slightly above casual gamers.

Joel January 11, 2021

The audio on this headset is an absolute game changer. I'm not a headset snob either. Haven't really invested in legit headsets because I never found the need to. However, since I got a PS5, I felt it was proper to get something to compliment the sound. I was playing Cyberpunk with these on for hours! Very comfortable, and the sound took my gaming session to the next level. Oh and they look fifty shades of awesome.

Great affordable 3-D Headphones

Paul November 9, 2020

Really happy with the headphones as it has enough bass and then crisp treble for a great experience playing music. Looking forward using this on the PS5. Works great with the Nintendo Switch: Breath of Wild is great with these as I can hear clear far off distance sounds, suttle wind, and Links foot steps ever so clear. Only con, I wish the control buttons were a little easier to use when on my head but they are manageable. Love these!

Works great on my Xbox series X with the wire hooked into Xbox controller (PlayStation USB receiver does not work plugged into a Xbox) but people can hear me clear and when using headphones on Xbox and on my PC with the PlayStation USB receiver hooked in, I can use wirelessly or switch to wired.

Amazing 3D audio! It was so convincing that while playing call of duty I heard a scream behind me and it made me jump and look around. Amazing headset for ps5 ❤️

Little features make the biggest difference

Marshall January 23, 2021

I have used many different headsets throughout my life, but with such a divisive reaction from the community I figured it was time for my first review. This headset overall, is great. There is nothing inherently bad about it. BUILD QUALITY: Leaves something to be desired, which is mainly due to the aesthetic. But, it is a pair of headphones that sits on your head. Leave them on a headset stand or your desk when not in use and they will be perfectly fine. The earcups are very comfortable, even for long periods of time, but are circular, not ovals, so keep that in mind if your ears are on the larger side. SOUND QUALITY: These sound about as good as you would expect $100 headphones to sound. You'll be able to hear footsteps and windows breaking in games as you'd hope, with decent directional audio as well. (ex. Enemy coming up on your left? Footsteps in your left ear cup). Music, in games and through Spotify, sound great. There's really nothing to complain about here. MICROPHONE: Two dual microphones hidden in the plastic portions of the earcups, definitely a change of pace from Razer Blackshark V2s which had a mic boom right in front of your mouth. However, people I've played with have had no complaints, so unless you want to stream and talk to your chat (which at that point you should get a USB Microphone anyway). these will be perfect. FEATURES/FUTURE: This is where the REAL benefits of this microphone come into play. This is the only first party (Sony) headset for the PS5. Because of this, there are a number of features that you can only get with this headset currently (P.S. 3D Audio is NOT one of them! That works with all headsets!) Imagine using Apple's Airpods with any phone other than an iPhone, then using them with an iPhone. Get what I mean? They connect instantly by themselves once you turn them on and have never had an issue doing so. They offer on screen visuals regarding headset volume and game chat/party chat balance when adjusting from the headset, and of course are the most aesthetically similar pair of headphones with the PS5. Finally, if you have a PS5, you know that when you first got it and connected a controller, the controller had to be updated. Maybe a bug fix, maybe a new feature? I'd bet that over the next few years Sony will continue to push updates to their first party accessories and fix issues, add new features, and overall just support them more than any other brand of headset. That's what really sold me on these, you're buying into the PS5 ecosystem and Sony will see to it that it all works seamlessly. Case in point, these charge over USB-C, just like the controllers so you only need one cable. FINAL REMARKS: The only true con I have come across with this headset so far is with the dongle. It is regular USB, not USB-C. This wastes a USB port when there is no true use for the Type-C port yet. Even the Arctis 7Ps use a USB-C Dongle.. Otherwise, overall this is a GREAT buy, just take care of it!

you get what you pay for. this is a hype product.

Danny November 9, 2020

coming from a Astro headset (i know i cant compare a $300 headset to a $99 headset) but the built quality feels empty and cheap. you get what you pay for and ignoring the FACT that this is a PS5 hype product. BUT whoever designed the spring area that sits on your head, i owe you a cookie cause of how comfortable it is.
