I love the look of this headboard. It is a heavy solid headboard. There were a lot of pieces but it was easy to put together.
Beautiful headboard. However shouldn't be listed as full/queen. Should just say queen. Definitely too big to be called full as it hangs past my full frame. I would return it and try to get a smaller size, but it is already built and it's just too much hassle to bother.
Went together fairly quickly, but the holes do not line up for a full metal bed frame, so have to attach either by drilling holes or attaching with glue. It is a full queen but is set up to attach to a platform bed from same company. Not sturdy enough for use for a children's bed, but looks great and ok for an adult bed. I am satisfied, but will have to do some additional work to make it a little more sturdy for sitting up in bed.
The headboard overall looks nice, for the price it's worth it. However when we put it together we attached it to our South Shore Basic queen platform bed (after I clarified with their customer service that it will fit properly) and it only attached to the base of the bed with 4 screws. We put it against the wall but since we have (as I would assume most households) baseboards, the headboard would not touch the wall and it would wobble. The screws and the base of the bed are so low to the ground and he headboard is so tall that thee is no way it would get enough support. If we leaned against the headboard it would rip it right out and break. So we had to do some adjustments. There were three pieces of leftover wood they sent us with the bed so we glued stacked them and hot glued and taped to the back of the bed just enough so it would touch the wall and get enough support. As much as it looks great I don't think normal headboards are suppose to work this way...
This headboard is intended for use with a platform bead. Can be used with a Full size metal boxspring frame if you drill new holes & purchase new hardware: 4 bolts, 4 nuts, 8 flat washers & 4 lock washers. It is slightly wider than a Full frame, but looks ok.
Not happy with the quality of this piece. I realize you get what you pay for but the screws you get to attach the large back piece to the frame are long enough that they come through the front and ruin the finish! Looks cheap and DOES NOT fit a full bed without looking odd.
Very hard to set up and instructions are not clear
I bought this for a guest room. Went together easily but this was supposed to be for either a full or queen frame. Did not / does not work for a full frame. We had to drill new holes just to get it attached. Will use it until I can find what I really want and then this will be donated. Worst $90 I've spent in a long time. So disappointed.
This headboard is so heavy due to the particle board. It was hard to put together because you aren't suppose to use A power drill. It isn't sturdy once constructed and it didn't come with the proper bolts to anchor it to the bed frame.
The headboard is thick and the screws they gave to locate it to bed are too small for this. As a result, we built it but when I applied little pressure to it it dislocated. It is not strong enough to stay stable. I don't recommend it.
