Spa Sensations by Zinus 8" Memory Foam Mattress

This is actually my second "boxed" mattress purchase (from a different vendor). Anyway, this is a great buy. Just like most of the other positive posts, it was delivered as promised, I opened it according to manufacturers instructions and it expanded immediately. It took approximately 6-8 hours to expand to the 10" height. There was a slight mechanical type odor to the mattress but that dissipated after about a day. Once the wait time had elapsed I dressed it with a mattress protector and a sheet. The mattress really sleeps well. I don't think it's too soft, maybe has a medium feel to it and conforms to one's position in a gradual manner. I bought this mattress for my college age son who thought the mattress was perfect. If you are looking for a firm mattress this is not for you however, it's two or three stages away from a light firm. As stated previously, if the categories were Soft, Medium or Firm, this would be a medium. I love this mattress. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

Purchased this mattress, along with the bi-fold support, for an antique iron bed frame. The mattress is a bit bigger (a few inches) than the bi-fold, but centering it on the bi-fold created no problems, and they tell you that since the foam expands, there may be variances. The mattress is firm, but because of the memory foam properties, it is very comfortable and doesn't leave a deep depression where you're positioned/sleeping and rolling over. It's still new and will be used primarily for a guest bed, so long term wear/tear is to be determined. Recommend a vinyl mattress protector for mattress & bi-fold, and a mattress pad, to protect the bedding (I do this for all our beds). I was worried about the "smell" that I've heard of on all foam mattresses, and they even caution you about it in the instructions. However, there were no discernible odors (other than "new"-type smell) that occurred when first opened up. It was even left in a closed up bedroom!

Well to be honest, I had this older metal spring mattress that made me feel pain everyday from sleeping on it, and I decided to get something better. I research mattresses on the web and realized I'd be sending potentially thousands of dollars, but then I came across the above mentioned mattress and read the reviews and some didn't sound so good, but I decided to purchase it and try it out. I could return if not happy. Well I received it pretty fast to my home and followed the directions, and because of a lack of room to let it expand. I used my bed after only a few hours, it seemed fully expanded. I am about 5'10" around 210 pounds, and I tried it out and I must tell everyone, the mattress worked for me fantastically, I simply love, it's so comfortable,and worth every penny. So no more pain from my old spring mattress. You can't beat the price and it works great!!

I would have no problem recommending this mattress to anyone that likes a firm mattress. I had the opportunity to test another "industry leaders" mattress yesterday. It was in the $750.00 range, 10" memory foam and similar cover. I could push my hand to the bottom of the mattress! I am just under 300lbs and I find this mattress to be darn near perfect. It was easy to handle. It was fully expanded in less than six hours to a full 10". There was no real detectable odor to the mattress. On our old mattress, I would wake and turn six or more times a night. On this spa sensations mattress, if I turn at all, it is only once a night. It is wonderful to be sleeping for six or more hours without waking to turn over.

I Have Purchased Multiple Air Beds, Because of a One Time, Long Ago, Great Experience, Till Now. If Your in The Market For a Great Cheap Bed, Save Your Nickels, and Spend Twice What You Would on a So Called, "Quality Air Mattress", And Buy This Memory Foam Bed Instead, and Save Yourself The Aggrevation. This is a GREAT Buy, as, 1) I Don't Even Think About, If The Bed is Deflated Or Not, and Have to Inflate Each Night or Try To Patch It. (Yah, Try Finding The Leaks), and, 2) I'm Sleeping Better Than I Have in Years. I May Eventually Buy a Platform For It, To Give it The Respect it Deserves. B-)

And I'm so glad I did! I must say, it was a bit firm at first, but as it conforms to your body over a period of time, it loses it's stiffness but remains firm. I priced other memory foam mattress and there was literally no comparison value wise. I'm ready to buy another one already but the one I have is still in great shape so I think I'll keep it for 8 years, the recommended time allowance for a mattress. Rest well! (I sure do!)

I checked online reviews of memory foam beds before I made my purchase. Was originally planning on TempurPedic, so glad I checked reviews ahead of time. This mattress was much less expensive and my husband and I couldn't be happier with it! We've been sleeping on it for nearly two weeks now and I've never slept so good in my life (that I can remember). We do smell the mattress a bit still, was much stronger for the first week, but the smell is nearly gone and might have been gone sooner if we could leave the bedroom door open, or maybe a window, but I have to keep the cats out :). Would definitely recommend to others.

My wife made a trip to Wa.to care for her mother who broke her leg. Her mother had gotten an inflatable bed for her spare room which my wife could not sleep on. I know Walmart has quality products,so I ordered this mattress online to be delivered to the Wa. residence. Delivered as promised and now I think my wife will keep me another 50 years. Thank you Walmart! I have a GREAT wife! (Excellent cook also.)

I loved my 8" Spa Sensations mattress. I moved and purchased a new mattress, so I "upgraded" to the 10" mattress and it does not seem nearly as nice as the old one that I bought 3 years ago... not sure if the size is making the difference, or if the quality is just going down... but I'm not completely happy with the new one. :(

I bought this because the reviews. It sounded amazing and I wanted to try memory foam. My brother also purchased and he loves it. However, for me its just too firm. I dont weigh much and I usually sleep on side or stomach so it just wouldn't work out. Wish it came in plush, guess I will stick to springs. Walmart.com had AMAZING service returning it back after opening though. They will ship me a truck to send back. Best part !!!!!!!
