SPAM Single Lite 12-2.5oz

Thank you SPAM for sending this product for me to try. This was my first time trying the Lite flavor, compared to the original, it's just less salty. SPAM is so versatile, this is something that is a great stable pantry item to have for days when you want to make a simple meal or even when you're looking to add a protein to a dish. I used my SPAM lite in a classic Hong Kong dish, that uses SPAM, chicken broth, and macaroni noodles. It is such a simple meal that honestly anyone can make, especially if you're sick and just want a quick and easy, but comforting meal. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone I know. I actually think this is perfect for people looking for lower sodium options.

I received SPAM free of charge in exchange for my honest review. I really enjoyed this product. It had great flavor, a good texture, and tasted lighter than traditional SPAM. Tastes great in my fried rice.

This Spam lite is the best choice for you if you a fan of Spam. It is lower in fat, calories, and sodium than Spam classic. It also tastes very well to me. It's my most favorite among Spam products.

My family loves Spam! We usually eat it over rice with a sunny side up or over easy egg. It is a nice quick meal and we prefer the Spam Lite version since it is less salty.

Easy to make sandwich with. Have eaten Spam for decades. Of course the Lite version not available in youth. Possibly not the most healthy meat but does better if cooked.

Okay. I only gave it 3 stars. Why? Well, it's not the healthiest thing to eat due to some ingredients. But, it's a good thing to have around for emergency food or something quick when you don't feel like making a fuss on fixing something to eat. I survived on these Spam singles, bread, canned chicken meat and the small Del Monte canned veggies when Helene took our power out for a week. I know, we were very blessed to only have lost power for a week. Still, you should always keep "emergency food" such as what I mentioned here around. You want something you can eat straight out of the can or package. Yea Spam may not be great straight out of the package but when you have nothing else it is okay. It is kind of like bologna. Either you like it or you don't. If you like it you are okay with it cold like that.

Didn't know it's was it's come in pouches! My bad! Didn't read, I thought I was buying the same thing as I done it before.

packaging looks like a lot but item is very small in terms of amount- better to buy an whole can of spam

I could not believe I got one little envelope of Spam which comes in a can just like the regular Spam but has less fat and crease!! I was disappointed that I only got an envelope of Spam. So I felt I should say something, maybe the shopper did not look around for the can of Lite Spam, I think they should be told that they should check the shelves when they pick up something as we cannot shop for ourselves since we don't drive and I know Spam is not good for you but I like it once in a while!!

Item advertised as a pk of 12 at $1.82 each. I ordered 4 believing i would get 48 individual 2.5oz items. i received only 4 items. Please correct this problem. Thank you
