Van Camp's Original Beanee Weenee, 13g Protein Per Serving, Canned Food, 7.75 oz. Can

I have eaten these on and off for years. They have white beans and little chicken frankfurters in them. The sauce is the regular sauce for baked beans. I cannot eat a heavy tomato or barbecue sauce so I am glad about that. I often make toast and butter it, then put this food on top of it after heating it in the microwave. This is a good meal for one. Or you can add rice or use this as a side dish. Opening the can is easy by pulling the tab. This is a small can that I keep on hand in the pantry.

Difficult to remove the plastic lid, then even more difficult to remove the metal lid. Some of the sauce always sprays out and on my clothes when popping the top.

Super taste. Great the way they are or add your special touch to them. I add honey mustard sauce and onions and peppers. For a special side dish Or eat them as they are. I eat the beans and Elvis and Charlie J eats the hot dogs. lol The fur babies like the treat. Also add them on the hot dogs rolls for something different. God bless you and your family

This one I keep plenty of round the house. Always good with a cracker. Ritz snack pack is great too.

Simply the best taste out there pricey though I mean it is beans and wieners, but they taste the same as when I had them as a kid, so I have to have them

These don't have much meat in them. They are good to have on hand for a quick meal but it is very easy to make your own. Goes well with mashed potatoes or mac n cheese. I like to use a can of baked beans and all beef franks.

I was wanting some beans and franks so I ordered these. I was very disappointed with them. I opened the first can and spilled the juice all over me. The consistency is more like a running soup than a can of beans. The weenee's are like little pieces of Vienna sausages not hot dogs like I was expecting. I grew up poor and we couldn't afford name brands. This is one time the poor version is so much better than the name brand. We always had the cheapest beans and sometimes had cut up hot dogs in the beans. The taste is far superior to Beanee Weenee which has Vienna sausages instead of hot dogs. I won't be buying this runny Beanee Weenee product again.

The company has changed these and they're horrible! The can has no sauce, but a watered down juice that has zero flavor. The hotdogs have been reduced to slivers of what they once were. I've eaten these as a snack for years, but not anymore.

I usually keep these around for hurricane season. In this particular case the can arrived sticky all around the bottom. Appeared to be some kind of leak. I threw it out.
