Special Kitty Clumping Clay Cat Litter, Fresh Scent, 20 lbs Jug, 1 Count

This was a substitution for my regular order. The smell is like going into a service garage and smelling old oil. the dust is horrible. I didn't even adda lot to my cat box. I did not even use it till i had totally cleaned and washed the cats litter box. I mixed with my other and went to clean this morning and you could actually see the cloud of dust . This is VERY DANGEROUS to the cat's respiratory system and to mine actually. This should be taken off the shelves. NOT A GOOD PURCHASE do not waste your money on this product .

I have bought this brand for almost a decade, and the company must have changed their ingredients. There is so much dust, like, I don’t even want to use this in a covered litter box. If it covers my glasses just from pouring it into the litter box, I cannot imagine what it would do to their lungs when they’re trying to use the bathroom. One cat immediately started sneezing as soon as I poured it into the pan. I will never buy this again. OH and I found literal clumps of clay in the box. TERRIBLE adjustment!!

This litter will give you respiratory issues. I have used this before and it was not this bad. So after a long time I bought this again. It turned out extremely dusty and I had to wear a mask to clean the litter box. Don't buy this if you have other choices. It will make a big cloud of dust even when scooping and was coming right at my face. Not gonna use again!!!

The newest is awful . When they changed the container with a larger lid. They changed the quality of this litter So much dust and large clumps of clay rock This should be the part that they throw out or sale at the dollar store So disappointing I called costumer service also. She said she will report to quality We will see probably not

was my go to litter for years and years... last 4 boxes i got didn't even resemble the same litter and covered my entire room with dust...i started getting nose bleeds every time i cleaned the litter box. Very disappointed in the major decrease of quality. i switched to a different brand.

I have been buying this litter for years and now need to switch. It used to be ok, especially for the price, but my last 2 orders, the litter now seems to be all dust. It doesn't clump nearly as good as it used to. It just appears to be all clay powder/dust. The dust is now all over the rooms with the litter boxes. I'm sad that something has changed with this litter and there is nothing to indicate that a change was made. I recently bought a store brand litter from a different store and it was much better quality than this one is now. Night and day difference. I can't recommend this litter unless they decide to go back to something that works and isn't so dusty.

This litter was the best and I saw people caught on because it was selling out so quickly. I purchased some more early March 2026 and the quality went waaaaaay downhill. The dust is insane, I feel like I cant breathe when Im cleaning the litter boxes. And the pieces are very big compared to what it used to be. It’s so different my cats are reluctant about using the litter pan now. Guess I’ll have to go back to the more expensive stuff.

I’m a Walmart member I spent over 200 Dollars a month on this kitty litter and somehow they have gotten clay litter mixed up with the scoopable stuff and it’s horrible and I’ve gone to that half of January so far all this month they need to get that fixed and I even called the one 800 number my cats hate it and I have 12

Special Kitty clumping litter use to be the best, but you guys changed the formula of the litter and now it doesn't clump good at all. You went from the best litter I've found to one of the worst clumping litters. I have half a mind to return 12 45lb boxes and 4 20lb tubs. Totally blows!!!

I usually get this brand in the 40 lb box but last two times had to get the 20 lb and both containers has such dust I had to buy something else! I actually had plumes of cloud dust coming up in my face and all over the bathroom pouring it and cleaning box out! I’ve never have seen so much dust in my life! I had to run the fan to get it sucked up out of the bathroom! I don’t know what ya guys did to this litter but I can’t continue to waste money on a product that’s suppose to be less dust and be in a cloud of it trying to clean my box!
