Special Kitty Surf & Turf Pate Wet Cat Food Variety Pack, 5.5 oz Cans, 40 Pack

We feed stray cats with this food, and my husband notifed me that we only had 2 cans left. I began my search for the lowest price with the fastest delivery and certainly Walmart.com was the winner! The food arrived before their next feeding time. He mentioned that they seemed to prefer this to all of the other foods we have been feeding them, nothing left in the bowls!

This cat food is of good quality especially if you have feral cats that you are trying to take care of. I like the pate because I have found out that with the shredded type cat food, the cats will eat/drink the juice and leave the shreds. The price is good!

Being that we feed 20 plus strays at our small acreage ranch, this is by far the cheapest food we can afford , the price doesn't stop there, the food itself has a great appearance, as well as the high price cat food out there. I also buy the big bags of dry food from the same brand to mix with the wet food., I always buy the same brand. I am glad I found this cat food, I will continue to buy this brand for as long as the price is affordable. Great texture, smell, by far a great product!

My delivery was where I asked it to be placed and came quickly and my order was complete and in excellent condition. Nice to finally have a delivery driver that listens to instructions and who cares about how my items were delivered and took extra care to make sure they were in good condition. Good job. I purchased two cases of this. My cats don't care much for it at all, but the real taste-testers would be my feral cats and even they show little interest in any of these flavors. If homeless, starving cats don't dive right in, then I know it isn't just my spoiled indoor cats being finicky. It looks fine, like any other wet pate cat food.

Ingredients have just changed! Cats not happy. The new can labels clearly indicate misleading flavors as the number one ingredients are now either water or sardines. The food is also now a product from Thailand. Texture changed too. Cats refuse to eat any flavor. This food was a solid 4 or 4.5 rating before this recent change. Now it's just bad. Even the feral cats won't eat it!

I had previously rated this with 5 stars 🌟 however, it seems they changed everything about this. %231 the box is now heavier cardboard, that is good since the cans are heavy and busted out the bottom of the thin cardboard. %232 the cans are now a different type of metal, and they no longer make a sound when opening, this is bad, since I feed ferals who know to come for food when they hear that sound. %233 the food has changed, the cat food doesn't come out of the can easily, and even using the lid to scoop it out it leaves a lot stick to the sides. This change also is concerning as none of the ferals really even want it. Please change it back to what it was!

My cats receive canned food as a "treat" and not so much as daily food. They all come running when I open a can of wet can food. I have 6 cats and all of them but 1 turned their nose up to this. It was dry and very strong smelling. I had to pretty much throw them out. I have bought individuals of this brand from Walmart before and they were fine. Buying this in bulk and having it shipped was the problem

the Feral cats that require my feeding them, hate abhor %26 despise anything this company makes. Dry %26 wet.. i wasted $40.00 on large %26 regular cans of pate %26 shreds %26 they refuse to eat it. the raccons like the dry, but they too refuse the canned.. buyer Beware!

I never received my order of Purina One Sensitive Skin/Stomach 16lbs. Cat Food, or Special Kitty Surf %26 Turf Pate Canned Cat Food (%2340), or Special Kitty Poultry %26 Beef Cuts in Gravy (%2340)...and Walmart cancelled my 'same day order' when I needed those items, so I made a complaint to Customer Service! And now I have to wait for the $70 amount to be reimbursed, which can take up to 10 days before I can reorder these same items again, so not impressed! Should be no stars, but it makes you select at least one! 🤨 Cary K. 🙄
