Challenges my child. Learning alot and ahead of her class. Isn't lost when in class. She does homeschooling online and it really helps her and me.

I use the Spectrum Reading Workbooks for Grades 5 and 8 with the students that I tutor on-line. I own both the hard copies and the e-book versions. As students complete the exercises on-line, I check their answers with the hard copies. My students respond to the exercises very well. I am able to monitor the progress of the students and find appropriate lessons for skills that need to be strengthened. with use of the books, English grammar becomes a fun activity.

I've used the spectrum reading books for several years now as a homeschool teacher, levels 2-8 now. The reading selections are interesting and hold my kids' attention. The comprehension activities are great and require my kids to think. Would definitely recommend.

More attention needs to be paid to the style of question, e.g, inferencing, sequencing, etc etc
