Spring Valley Echinacea Goldenseal Blend Dietary Supplement, 900 mg, 75 Vegetarian Capsules

I like to keep this on hand during the winter months. I start taking it as soon as I have any symptoms of a cold or flu. Since I started using it, I stopped having secondary infection from colds and viruses. I'm not a doctor, But from what I understand, echinacea improves the immune system and golden seal is like a natural antibiotic.

I haven't noticed much of an effect here in Florida, but when I lived in colder northern climates, I definitely noticed a difference. Taking echinacea helped me avoid catching every bug that was going around. It seems to work better for me in those tougher winter conditions!

We've been taking this supplement for many years. Actually, for decades. Taken 30 days on, 30 days off. Haven't had a severe cold in years. Over time, this supplement assists the body in building up immunity. I don't understand why, but the "Golden Seal" variety seems to work much better than the regular Echinacea.

I can tell these actually work! I get a bit of an energy boost with more mental alertness when I take them, so take them early in the day. They don't give me jitters or anxiety, either. They also reduce the intensity of illness, colds and cold sores, often the duration as well. They are a good price, too! 7.4¢ each in March 2026. Note: please read up on Goldenseal if you take these. If used daily, you do need regular breaks, so make sure you know how to properly take them or any supplement as it varies depending on the pill and what meds you might be on. I was told years ago that Echinasea was good for my immune system. So I've been taking it ever since and no longer have an issue with constant colds. I believe I'm stronger and better even though I'm much older now.

I've always used echinacea whenever I am feeling like there's a bug in my system and needs to be eliminated. Though never had goldenseal added to my echinacea. I've found this to be very helpful in helping get rid of a sinus issue. So get more bang for my buck.

Echinacea with Goldenseal is excellent to prevent any type of respiratory problem caused by cold weather. My family and I start taking it mid-October until Springtime begins. We haven't had any colds or the flu, in years! I highly recommend this product. (We buy the Spring Valley brand name)
