As a caterer, I use "canned heat" to keep buffet items warm. The metal cannisters burn nicely for hours once lit. The problem is, I don't need to keep their flames going that long a time, hence I need a safe method for both extinguishing those flames, while not filling the area with smoke while I extinguish the flames. The easy solution is to have a pair of these simple tongs. I can easily grasp the metal cover lids for those canned heat cannisters and safely place the lids back upon them, and use the tongs to tap the lid down to prevent escaping fumes. Later, once the cans have THOROUGHLY cooled, I can screw those lids back into place for another use later. The price is unbeatable, and having four of them in one packet gives me spares...because, like they say, "Two is one."

Great serving tongs. Good grips, easy to use and great for serving. I bought a number of these for my church to use in the church kitchen and fellowship hall. Much better than the plastic tongs provided by many caterers. The plastic ones just break and can be difficult to use as they slip easily when used. The tongs are easy to clean, grip and durable. They can be put into a dishwasher as well.

This set is impressive. What great quality for such a reasonable price. I highly recommend this set. You will not be disappointed.

Easy to use. Great colors. I use them every day. They are small and fit perfect in my hands. I also use them for salads as well as for turning meat and veggies in oven.

They are smaller than I thought and honestly feel very light. I only recommend them if you will be using to move or lift small pieces of meat. I was disappointed.

These tongs are great for cooking and serving food. I like that they’re colorful and able to store open or closed.

Cheap but helpful! These tongs seem to be made of very flimsy plastic but are very helpful when picking hot rolls out of the oven, toaster over, or microwave. Has a slide release on the lock that keeps them closed, but it's easy to open with one hand and then you can grab cooked items off of the tray you've just pulled out of the oven. I wouldn't think of using them on a heavy item like turning a big steak, but turning wings and other small pieces they are fine! Hard to beat the tool for the price and the grip keeps your fingers from getting burnt! They are short in size and I wouldn't want to use them in an open flame or touch a real hot burner with them but I don't think they were made for that purpose.

They are smaller than I anticipated Two of them work perfectly fine but the other two get stuck in the closed position and it difficult to get them to release. I didn’t return them because I thought I’d give them a try. I can’t return used items so I guess I’m stuck with them.

Arrived quickly decent price but very flimsy cheaply produced.. disappointing!!!
