The triangular barrel on this pencil will be a specific point to consider given your preference in feel over time for the handling. I think no matter what, that a soft gel grip will be a needed addition for comfort, but that is just my opinion. In any case, the price was right on these.

Staedtler colored pencils are the %231 best pencils. Vibrant colors, smooth, no streaking, easy to sharpen. Triangular shaped pencils are easy to grip.

So Many Choices
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this set and give it to my niece who loves to color. I got her a giant coloring pad and this as her bday gift. She could not believe all the colors and how easy they were to use.
