I couldn't be happier with the Kingart Soft Core Colored Pencil Set! The 36 vibrant colors are rich, smooth, and perfect for both drawing and adult coloring. The quality of the pencils is top-notch, and they glide effortlessly on paper. Plus, my order arrived quickly, and the delivery was smooth—an all-around fantastic experience
These are great! I use them every day, and there is such a variety of colors. I wish there were skin tones though! Easy to enhance color with layers, and sharpen nicely.
Great quality colored pencil set, made of real wood! They're easy to sharpen and last for ages while providing amazing colors for artwork. Highly recommend.
I have several brands of colored pencils, and some are artist quality that are a little pricy. I still love my King Art colored pencils. The lead is not bad about breaking, so it is a pleasure to color with them. I switch around with my brands of pencils so their unique qualities help make each coloring page special in its own way. I also keep a new 72 pack of King Art colored pencils to gift to people as desired.
Some of the colors are really hard to use it actually does color while some of the colors are smooth like butter. All in all decent for starting to use wax color pencils. But I'm honestly going to save for the expensive one…
The colors are mislabeled. the description of most are incorrect. Also there's only 5 main tones, like 10 greens, but the shades are off %26 the entire set is like that, all the same hue throughout the gradient spread across the rainbow
I have a lot of their products and this probably has to be the one issue that I had when receiving the products. All of the barrels seemed like they had cracks, going up.The side of the pencils, they kept breaking while utilizing them if you have carpal tunnel, these are not the pencils for you you have to press really hard just to get any sort of color from them
I am not a harsh critic. I use Crayola and Meijer's generic colored pencils with ease and no issues. I have no idea how King Art managed to make 72 dull, drab pencils. Red is supposed to be vibrant. I went over the same spots a lot! The pencils resist regular paper. I could see if the paper was coated, but it's not, and the colors will not stick. I wouldn't let a child use these because they are just that irritating. It's not because of the price because Crayola and Meijer were inexpensive. These are just garbage.
The pencils clump up as you add layers even if you're pressing as light as possible when adding layers they don't blend well they clump. It's worth it to spend more and just get prismacolor pencils if you really want your page to look nice. They're fine if you're just looking for something for kids but if you really want to create something beautiful they are not good.
very little pigment, doesnt layer well at all, colors dont match the name, many look identical, so waxy, scratchy, one good thing is they sharpen well.. skip these. invest a few more dollars and go with prismacolor instead or just save yourself some money and get crayola. theyre much better imo
