My wife and I purchased one of these mainly for pedaling in place no matter what you are doing while sitting in a chair. So far it seems like it's working splendidly, Fun to use and gives a decent lower region work out. Also good for arm exercises.
Love the weight!!
I use this machine every evening for 60 minutes The best!
It is helping with my recovery of strength in my legs.
This is a sturdy product that is already been useful at strengthening the muscles in my legs. I bought this item upon the recommendation of my Pre-hab therapist to improve my ability to with my left knee. I am already walking up the stairs like a regular person rather than once step at a time.
I found I had to buy a mat to put it on otherwise it would slip around on my laminate floor.
I had my knee replaced about 2 years ago. This is a good way to get the much needed exercise.
This unit worked mechanically as described. However, the rubber pads on the unit did not grasp the floor as expected. The unit was susceptible to slipping when the pedals are engaged. Basically, they need a corrugated bottom hold the surface better. The unit did not grip on carpet or wood floors.
Great price, however, I specifically wanted a Velcro strap to keep my clients' feet in place on the pedals and the Velcro was placed in the wrong spot so I have to bring my own adhesive velcro to try and solve the problem. Besides that, the pedals are great.
Honestly just spend a little bit of money and buy a better one. firstly it doesn't stay in place, not in carpet or hardwood. But that's fine, I used one of those carpet holder mats to keep it in place and removed the annoying legs that kept rotating while using. But the most annoying part that makes it useless for me is that the resistance is a joke and does not work at all, in the tightest setting it barely feels like anything. I wish I had returned it in time.
