Bought this for my 91 year old father. We installed this pole along with a toilet seat riser and life got a whole lot better for him. Solid construction and easy to install and very sturdy. I liked it so much, I ordered another pole and it has been installed in his other bathroom.

The assembly instructions were easy to follow assembly was easy to complete. Shipping of the item was quick but by the time it got here the patient was beyond benefiting from the grab bar however it is such a versatile and convenient tool as the caregivers were able to benefit from it by using it as a back support and lean-to when transferring patient from chair to wheelchair. the pole mounted grab bar was also beneficial for the client to have something to reach for when we needed her to lean forward and she was unable to do so on her own. now that the patient's needs are far beyond with a pole mounted grab bar can provide I have moved it to the bedroom by my bed for when I want to sit up in bed without leaning all the way back to the wall. This unit leaves no scars or marks on any walls or ceilings which is great for the integrity of the house.

Added this as a second mobility aid in a guest bathroom. It really helps my father (Alzheimer's) stand up after using the toilet. If I could just get my mother to stop hanging towels on the bar I'd be thrilled! Seriously, nothing else works as well to get a grab bar in front of my father...wall mounted bars tend to twist him around as he tries to stand.

The product was easy to put together with a online support or video looks sturdy we didn't secure it to the ceiling or hard tile floor because we didn't want to have permanent holes. But it seems very secure and steady.

Well made product, easy to assemble. Fast delivery, on time. Doesn't work in my husbands situation. If grab bars were adjustable for height, it would probably work fine. he is 6'5" and needs to pull himself up on a stiff leg. Bars are too low. Emailed manufacturer to see if there was a way we could reconfigure to adjust, have not received a reply. I would return but have thrown away packaging. Was very excited about the concept, but disappointed in the reality.

my ceilings are 6 ft so would not work. not returable if i had realized i would not have bought

This was a returned item, open box. Box is damaged. have yet to install it where it is going, but if damaged will return. This was not a "new" product. yet I paid for a NEW unopened item.
