Stanley 84-105 6" Basic Diagonal Cutting Plier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These do exactly what diagonal pliers should do. They cut. I've used them to cut wire, zip ties and other miscellaneous straps. The edges do well for general cutting and seem to be holding their sharpness well.

It looks well made for the price. The real test of its quality comes when you use it to cut wire or small bolts, and I haven' had the need to do that yet.

There isn't anything fancy about them but there doesn't need to be. They fulfill their purpose well. I really like the oil resistant dipped grip on the handles. It make is easy to wipe them down after a dirty job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cutting edges are plenty sharp enough for most jobs the average “do-it-yourselfer” might run across, but these are not made for professional maintenance personnel. The handles are not long enough for really good leverage and they feel a little weak. I am plenty satisfied with the pliers and they will work great around the house.
