STANLEY® 68-010W - 10pc Ratcheting Screwdriver

I bought the older version of the 68-010 years ago and liked it so much I bought several more so that I could have one at home, at work, one in each vehicle etc. The tool is well made and very sturdy, never any problems with the ratcheting mechanism. Excellent value! I've had these for many years and they all still work great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have owned one of these tools by Stanley for at least 12 plus years or so. It's my go-to around the house. when my daughter moved out into her own place just recently, I decided to get this for her as a Christmas gift because she needed some tools around her house. So handy to have all of the bits stored in the handle so that I don't have to look around my toolbox to find them or have five different kinds of screwdrivers. Also love the fact that it ratchets! l recommend this highly!

I like everything about this ratcheting screwdriver. I like the way all the bits fit into the handle securely and can be removed easily. It is really a good tool and easy to use.

The new model has a magnet in the shaft to hold the bits in and it's very strong. It has a lot of room and options for on sight storage. The handele is just the right size and is very comfortable.

It worked great until a few days ago when it fell apart during use. Is there a guide on how to reassemble it?

Screwdriver fell apart after a few uses. My son gave me this ratcheting screwdriver because of the thick handle which is easier to hold and use with arthritic hands (I love this!). But I'm disappointed and surprised that it came apart while trying to get a bit. I wasn't expecting this from a Stanley product. I'm not sure if I have a defective product or if it can be repaired. Sad!!

I bought one of these for keeping in an area of the house where it would not be used very often. After about 10 uses, it fell apart and five tiny pieces came out of the piece where the barrel is coupled to the base. Stanley used to make good products.

This is a very poorly made screwdriver. It came apart within the first 3 uses from some gentle pulling. The design for removing the bits is not very good.

Very poor quality. Similar to other reviewers it fell apart after relatively little use. Used to have a non-ratchet version which I've used for over 20 years and it's still going strong. Thought I'd "upgrade" and it was a complete waste of money. Used to think more highly of Stanley products. (And this site wouldn't let me leave a review without signing up to promotional emails!)
