Stanley OEM STHT30810 St Tape Cd 12Ft 1/2In Leverlock

It is lightweight and east to carry around. Drawback is may fall when have ten plus feet reeled out. It has a three quarter inched blade not one inch. Will have to be careful not to bend it. Retract button at bottom is cool but may take getting used to. Nice thumb grip on top. Before I forget it looks real nice which isn't needed but not hated either. Belt clip at angle keeps it from sliding ,they put thought into the design and the price is so nice. Verdict = score !

This is a very handy tape measure to use. I often do not need a longer tape measure, so 12" is very convenient. I like the ease of use that it locks in place by default.

I bought this about 2yrs ago and have used it so much. I use it for measuring packages I ship, measuring furniture when rearranging rooms, measuring items at stores, and even when I build or plant something. I have not found a better tape measure that actually helps and not hinders my projects. The Stanley 12' Leverlock just works. The tape is fairly flat, no curling up trying to read and mark from a crazy flipping tape. The best thing about this tape measure is you pull it out and don't have to push an awkward button to get it to stay.. I have had this for so long I can't remember when I bought it. All these many years the 12' The Leverlock has worked flawlessly and was a quick grab and go for quick jobs/projects around the house. Fits my pockets or belt clip, is easy to open, locks without any additional steps and with an easy squeeze the blade retracts. I love the lever lock action in a tape measure, but they are advertised as yellow. They arrived as orange. I really like yellow for visibility- finding a tape when I misplaced it

Just a regular person purchasing a tape measure for furniture space. The packaging on the product was too adequate, ; i.e., it practically requires a blowtorch or some other reasonable, appropriate tool to open it! Have not yet tested the functionability.

I was specifically looking for a tape measure that had 1/32" markings for the 1st 12 inches. The description of this item said that was the case. What I received only had 1/16" markings.

I really love this product, its form factor, and function. BUT.... This is only in Imperial, units no Metric. Total deal breaker and unnaceptable in Canada.
