Great scraper, and the blades even come in a slide-out dispenser, not in a cheap paper box. I tried 3 different brands. I got one scraper for about $4.50 and it was about the same quality as the $ store one I was replacing! I got another that was just over $2 and although it was better than the $4.50 one, it had a huge metal hook for the thumb tab. The Stanley has a nice solid gold-colored metal thumb slide assembly that actually locks into place, and you have to push it in to retract the blade, too. The scraper feels "just right" in your hand, unlike the other two that I tried that are over-long and narrow and awkward to actually use. The Stanley is very Hardy!
I purchased this to remove glue from labels, and it did the job perfectly.
Bought it to take tint and tint glue off and works like a charm
Haven't found a better tool to remove burnt-on material on our glass top burners. It won't remove the carbon black that all such burners collect over time, but, it does clean off more than most with no seeming damage to the glass top.
Blade scrapper works well and delivery was ultra fast.
Sturdy, no nonsense, humbly does the job [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
It came on time if not early. Sturdy construction, blade slides in-and-out very easy. Blade is very sharp. Did exactly what I needed to do in a quick manner
good value...needed a one sided razor blade for cleaning
This does a good job but it's a little tricky getting the blade in. The opening for it isn't big enough to slip it in easily so you have to force it in, which means you could accidentally cut yourself. The whole thing fits well in the hand and does the job.
The instruction for placing the blades left something to be desired. It was very hard to get the blade in. The being able to close the blade is very hard also.
