STANLEY FatMax FMHT16553 3-Piece Cold Chisel Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these chisel to remove foundation anchors and pop rivet heads and nail heads. These chisels are heavy duty for sure. The 3/8 chisel worked perfectly on nail heads but I had to use the 1/2 chisel on some drywall screws. The 5/8 chisel is a beast! This chisel cut through a couple of foundation anchors with little effort except I had to use a bigger hammer. Overall these chisels performed flawlessly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the money, this compact set of cold chisels gets the job done. I used them for a small stone carving project on slate. The chisels bite through the rock effectively. The three sizes allow for tailoring the tool to the size of the area to be carved. They also worked well for removing ceramic tile flooring. For small jobs I recommend this set.

The chisels are made from strong chrome vanadium steel, and the set is built for cutting and shaping tough materials like steel, cast iron, brass, and aluminum. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to try out these amazing Stanley FATMAX cold chisel set. It came in 3 different sizes. 3/8", 5/8" and 1/2". Very durable. I found the quality of these chisels to be more than satisfactory for my purposes. I can use these om ,multiple things and their not really heavy at all. But what I like the most is how durable they are.

The three sizes cover most needs and come in an easy to store packaging that gives me options to either hang or store safely in my toolbox or a drawer. The heads appear to absorb hammer blows well without any major mushrooming. Overall, I believe it will be the “just right” set that I will reach for again and again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 3 piece cold chisel set from Stanley is extremely useful. With 3 sizes it will work on the majority of home and job site projects. They came in a nice holder than can be reused to store them in which is a nice bonus since they won’t roll around a tool box when opening and closing the drawer. The bright yellow powder coat finish makes them easy to clean and easy to find when the work gets dirty or you have multiple tools out for a job. The edges from factory on the tips are excellent, not too sharp but with a good edge to chisel or punch. The sizes are great for most small to medium sized job. In the mechanic shop they are great for chiseling off stuck snap rings, removing metal bands, and folding over lock washers, and knocking off edges. Would recommend this set, great quality and price.
