STANLEY STST13331 12.5-Inch Essential Toolbox

Stanley is a great product. This little toolbox, is perfect for my household needs. Manufacturers don't think about women needing a toolbox for their screwdriver, hammer, tape measure, push pins, small panel nails, pliers, wrenches. We do things around the house that require tools too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toolbox has a straightforward design with some cool features that improve it's functionality. First off, its super lightweight, which is awesome when filling with heavy screws and tools, and it feels like it can handle some abuse. It has a removable tray that sits on top of the main compartment which is super handy to use as an external tray that you can move around with you if needed. I used the tray to hold deck screws and extra bits as I was securing joists and boards on a large deck and it was the perfect size and design to both carry and drag around with me. Normally I fill the main compartment with various boxes of screws and load up the tray with drill bits and screw bits. One of the most convenient features is the additional compartments included in the top of the toolbox. These little holders have one divider each and you can use them to hold all of the extra random things you accumulate on a job. So far I've used them to hold things like old screws I've removed while remodeling and various clips from automotive interior and body work. I've used them to hold small wire connectors and terminals as well. I wish the latch that holds the box closed felt a little more solid but it hasn't come close to failing yet. All in all this is a solid toolbox that I expect to last me a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toolbox is stronger than other toolboxes I have had of this size. The top organizer allows me to keep small screws and tools handy, as I use the box for organizing my table saw tools and attachments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool box is a great product for people like me who do cable and constantly enter and exit customers residence. I can carry my RG6 connectors in the top compartment. Zip ties, ground clamps, anchors and all my daily 5 hand tools fit right inside. I use to fumble with all my necessities on the way to the customers door but this tool box makes work inside the home quick and efficient.

The small parts organizers are great for small items like picture hangers or wall anchors. As a matter of fact, my wife has taken it and put her homeowner tools hammer screwdrivers knife etc. in the bottom. Smaller tools and hardware in the tool tray and her picture hangers and nails in the small compartments. It's very compact also.

I bought this to keep my 1/4" drive tools separate from the 3/8" and 1/2" tools.. I think it's a good choice for that. I used my toolbox logic, it's quite logical.

This is a nice toolbox but I also bought a Hyper Tough toolbox that is just as good, and for half the price.

I let daughters use it for their “tools” and they've really enjoyed it because it's all plastic and the latches aren't especially tight. There are tons and tons of uses for a tool box this size. Housing a tool of any substantial size is not really one of them, though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little tool box for storing smaller items such as a screw driver set, sockets and other hand tools. The two small compartments on top are great for srew driver tips or small hardwares. The only downside is the latch which locks in but falls off easily and feels like too much wieght may break it.
