I bought all three of those sizes but they didn't fit. If you go to a hardware store you'll see the blue arrow package with those sizes listed but not the stapler model. That's not it. It's the green package that has the mode listed on it! It's about there same price and there's about the same model number of staples. Notice the color of the background where it shows the staple is green. This is telling you you need to get the green box staples
I went to Walmart looking for a staple gun to use in my classroom. This product was reasonably priced, small, and light-weight. It worked great for my limited needs today. I did have a little trouble loading the staples into the machine initially but I figured it out fairly quickly ( there were no directions on how to load the staples.) I don't know if I got light weight or heavy duty staples but they fit just fine and the machine worked without a problem. Love it!
Great light duty and compact staple gun, great at the gun range to staple targets to cardboard which is my primary use. My only complaint is I have lost the piece that holds the staples into the gun taking it in our out of my range bag so watch that. Otherwise, a great little stapler. To those having trouble finding staples -- this is not brain surgery, just look for Arrow JT21 there're everywhere!
I love the ANTI-JAM MECHANISM. I can keep working and don't have to take time to fix a jammed staple. It's easy to use and I'm able to see when I need to put more staples in.
I've had this lightweight staple gun for several years now, and it works great for most of my small projects. I've had no problem with the 1/4" staples purchased with it, which are what I've used for securing insulation edges to beams as well as household uses. Not sure why a couple of other reviews dissed this small staple gun, but it has worked well for me. Sometimes it jams on the small staples, but it's easy to clear and then continues. I'd recommend it for light job or for men or women with smaller hands as it is lightweight.
It does not take 1/4" staples even though that is the size written on the stapler. I tried different brands and each claimed to fit Stanley. It seems to only work with Stanley 1/4" staples. I guess Stanley uses a different ruler than the rest of us.
WAL-MART DOESN'T SELL THE STAPLES! I bought this at my local Wal-Mart and grabbed the staples right next to it. I got home a realized that I had bought the wrongs staples; the gun requires light duty and I bought heavy duty. I cursed myself and went back only to find that they don't even SELL the light-duty staples! I went online and walmart.com doesn't even sell them! I have to go to Home Depot to get these staples.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that has said staples don't fit!! I thought I was just buying the wrong kind. I've all sizes listed on the actual stapler and they don't fit. This is really frustrating and I've wasted a lot of money. I'm just going to buy another one from a different company I guess.
I own a TR45 and i am constantly pinching my hand in the lever. Also I have purchased 1/4" and 5/16" staples for this gun and neither fit even though they are listed on the side as the top 2 types of staples. I've wasted money on staples i can't use and bandaids for when I actually have the right staples.
I bought this for lightbuse. It is getting no use. The staples that were specified with the produsct don't fit. The staples with the Stanley product cross-match on the box don't fit. The staples reccomended at an actual hardware store don't fit. This stapler looks pretty but is totally useless.
