Good quality, easy to use. Reinforced bottom to prevent droop.
These are nice hanging folders. I use them when I have thick files and the normal size ones are too small. I wish they came in a 1” as well
Works fine. My problem was 2 different “connections” of the cardboard device in the bottom of the folder I.e. my first package had the cardboard devices with only a “bump” on each end that slid into a “hole” in the middle of the folder's 2 inch width at each end. But then my next box had cardboard devices with no “bump” and they didn't fit into the “holes”.
Very sturdy and fits well in my cabinet.
These were just what I was looking for. The wide bottom allowed extra thick files to still sit at the same level as thinner ones and made it so that I didn't have to split up material into multiple files. The only thing I wish was better was the metal hanger; it really should be a little heavier-duty to accommodate the extra weight and not bend so much when sliding those files around in the drawer. But it's a very minor issue in the whole scope of what these files provide. I will still buy them!
I would have given a 5 Star but they don't fit well in a plastic portable file box. (They drag and slide back)I am sure there wouldn't be a problem in a metal type filing cabinet. The product itself is very sturdy and when you fold the bottom to fold out flat the file really holds a lot of documents.
These folders simply don't form that sharp bottom edge seen in the pictures. The file folders we place in them simply push them down into a curve. The only way to make these look like that would be a fair amount of creasing and hand work but the thin cardboard support would need to be glued in I suppose. We returned these (because we already had a box from a year or two ago languishing in the office) and replaced them with others with accordion-style sides. We are finding useful expansion folders are tough to find.
This was the only single color option for expanded file folders with reinforced bottoms for larger files. Unfortunately under the weigh of larger files the top supports came unglued and collapsed allowing the metal tracks to pop out. I solved the problem by taping all the seams with extra strength scotch tape and so far it seems to be holding but in my opinion this is a serious design flaw.
These folders are made of flimsy lightweight materials- the file material and hooks are extremely thin. A piece of thin cardboard is included to place at the bottom as a reinforcement. No tabs included. Buy the Pendaflex instead- more expensive but totally worth it.
Shabby file File bottom piece not attached. Unhandy. There was none to look at outside the box or I wouldn't have bought it. I should have purchased another more expensive brand but it couldn't be viewed outside the box either. I typically am enthusiastic about Staples. Not with this product and how it was displayed in the store.
