Let me be upfront: applying this stuff is about as graceful as frosting a cake in a hurricane. The liquid electrical tape gets everywhere, on your fingers, on the wire jacket, on that one spot of your workbench you really didn't want it on. The applicator brush cap is a thoughtful touch, but ease of use is not this product's strong suit. Budget a few minutes for cleanup and just accept that your fingertips are going to look like they lost a fight with a tar pit. The dry time is reasonable. It goes on thick and glossy, then cures down to a flexible, rubbery coating that conforms nicely to irregular shapes and awkward splice geometries that self-fusing tape tends to handle poorly. Once it's fully set, it feels solid and substantial rather than brittle or tacky. The bond and waterproofing are where this product earns its stars. I used it on several outdoor low-voltage landscape wire splices that have since seen rain, sprinkler overspray, and hard frosts. No corrosion, no water intrusion, no failures. For repairs on existing splices where you need coverage that wraps into every gap and crevice, it genuinely outperforms tape. The 4 oz bottle goes a long way. I have done a dozen splices and it is still well stocked. Keep the cap tight between uses or it will skin over.
So much better than using regular electrical tape for wires! for the money you can't beat it long as you keep the can closed a ton cheaper than tape that can go bad and not stick easily
I have used liquid electrical tape of various brands, for years. You dont know you need it. But once you use it, more uses come up. Its basically a sealer that can be brushed on easily. Also good for wires.😁
I was trying to figure out how to fix my exposed wires, saved me a lot of money now that able to repair them instead buying new charger. Holding up well thus far, flexible too
Love it, works incredibly well somehow one of my grandson managed to get one of my laptop cords stuck somehow and it's been scraped in a small area to the wire. I was able to brush on nice and smooth a few coats letting it dry in between each and it worked perfectly! I just couldn't see replacing my cord again. I literally just bought that one. Plus it's good to have this in the event of other needed minor cord mishaps. I think this is so much better than electrical tape which almost always finds itself unraveling! Thank you genius inventor! Smart thinking.
This liquid tape is an absolute life saver especially for those of us who are hard core crafters but not great at electricity in general. So easy to apply, dries quickly, and I've tested it enough to feel confident in using it for all of my needs, such as miniature models that come with LEDs that all need wired together. Such a great product!
Actually becomes a permanent fix!! Take your time when applying product and you will not be disappointed.
This stuff works great. I was working on some low voltage underground lighting and this made the project easy.
These products offers to Customers are preciousness and mervellous. Good products are are available for purchase and use at Home.
It's pretty thin going on, so it runs very easily. Thin layers with a few minutes between works best.
