This light is awesome for the price. The medium side light will be all I need in a power outage, and it lasts 12 hours on a full charge. The high spot is incredible. It light up an area about an 8th of a mile down the road and could have gone further is the road didn't turn downward. Not sure when I'd need that but it came with the territory! I wanted something reliable for emergency power and this is overkill! I can walk around the house in a blackout and navigate easily! You can spend 4-5 times as much for the same things this does! It's a bargin.

This is amazing! So much fun to run off stray dogs, deer, stray cats etc. Extremely bright can see down the field all the way to the back fence. It may look like a toy but it's a real adult flashlight in fact I wouldn't recommend for children as they could harm someone while playing around with the light.

purchased in advance of major icestorm in case of power outage. The unit charged quickly and has a blinding light! It can be used also to charge your cell phone , very helpful item.

This is the best flashlight I've ever owned. It lights up the backyard and the light beam illuminates the top of the trees and a good distance into my woods. Best part is that it is also a lantern and it's rechargeable. What more could you want. Oh yeah it also has a flashing light function as well.

Star Patrol Spotlight is every bit as powerful as seen on TV. It lights up our entire back yard ! Charging time was actually shorter than the 7 hours indicated for a full charge. If I had a suggestion for improvement it would be to make it less heavy than 2 lbs. %26 out of a material other than plastic which is bound to crack if inevitably dropped onto a hard surface.

It did what it said it would. A few options I wasn't aware of that were good. Cheap construction, but works as advertised.

well its one of the brightest flashlights i have ever seen and i have over 75 flashlights. the only thing is the battery barlesy lasts a walk with my dog and rhats what i got it for. BTW it is a little on the heavy side of a flashlight. i got a great price for it, but I was wondering if the price i got was used to one, but it didn't look like it with the packaging.

Flashlight is extremely bright - in this sense it does not disappoint. There are multiple settings for brightness including a floodlight, and a side button with its own flashlight setting, and holding the side button down activates a police-strobe feature. For the focused-beam setting the beam is incredibly bright and goes very far out, and using the floodlight or ambient feature at night will make everything in your vicinity clearly visible. Now - given the extreme brightness it does deliver - the downside is definitely the length of time it can perform even after being fully charged. It seems that time continues to decrease over time with each time you charge it fully - first it maybe can go 15 minutes. After a while of frequent and long usage it will last 10 minutes, and then after a while you'll find you are only getting 7 minutes. You might consider my results to show what to expect when pushing usage to its limits, as I am likely harder on it than the average user. For that reason I recommend carrying a regular light and implementing this light when it's extreme brightness is a needed advantage vs using this for your main light source - for example when camping, night fishing, etc.

The flashlight is very bright but the charge doesn't lasted to long. So if you loose power you can not use it because the Battery only works for 5 to ten minutes

This light stopped working after three tries I even bought new connector.
