Well it's funny you ask about a review on this item. I especially purchased to use on the Audio Box 24” television in my travel trailer and the television can't read the dvd's and the speakers are terrible. So I can't really review dvd's until I get home and try it again. The Audio Box 24” television is terrible.

How many episodes can YOU fit in an 8x6x5 box?

ProsNCons May 29, 2021

A huge set of discs in a compact storage case. Two sturdy plastic cases with hinged leaves inside carry the DVDs in groups of two or three. Competitive pricing for a LOT of episodes! My wife

I've only started watching the series. The first disc thus far. Therefore I'm not sure of the condition of the rest of the discs. This rating is prepared to be adjusted if can be made

Fairly good packaging but discs are stacked so it is difficult to undo to get to the disc you want to watch. All discs play fine. Two seasons have either poor original production or poor digitization as they are somewhat "fuzzy" but still viewable enough to enjoy.

Studio Packaging Horrible!

Frank July 20, 2021

STTNG is a quality tv show of course. It gets 5 stars on that score. Even so, the way that the studio has packaged all the disks is abysmal. Disks are stacked in pairs in such a way that the playing surfaces are in contact with other disks. That makes it possible (if not probable) that there will be scratching of the disks (especially if shipped from walmart in the mail rather than buying it from your local walmart store). I haven't even played any of the disks yet, so I don't even know yet if the playability of any of the disks has been compromised. Time will tell -- there's a lot of disks to get through.

Great product, awful packaging

Tom November 24, 2022

Hi folks, While I just got the package about an hour ago and haven't watched any yet, everything that I read about the way that the discs are packaged is true. It is simply not at all well thought out. A few discs of one season are together and then the other discs of that same season are together as another group. I guess there's a pattern to it, but it's just ridiculous. The package also has two plastic tabs that must be bent or pulled back or outward to release the second half of each portion. I used a needle nose pliers to wedge them apart so that I could continue to unload all of the discs. Absurd !! Solution: I just so happened to have a many years old CD folder / storage case that zips up and holds 48 CD's. Once I finally got all of the DVD's out of the packaging, I laid them out on my bed in columns per season checking the order as I went per season and per disc number, and then loaded them into my old CD storage case. Now they're all in order and nicely arranged and protected, as well as super easy to get and put back in order. Whomever the packaging engineer was who designed this or selected the system or method chosen must have barely passed his classes or got a pass on simplicity of design. This is the classis scenario of an oil filter on your car needs changing, but to get to it and to remove it, you have to remove half of the engine first. It's truly ridiculously done.

Star Trek second generation complete series review

Ron July 12, 2023

The order came much faster than I thought. The only thing I would add is that I have just started watching the series and already one of the episodes on DVD two doesn't work. Don't know yet if others won't work either.

Defective DVDs

Elizabeth April 30, 2023

Some dvds are defective and are missing episodes. I held the disc up to the light and it's clear the disc wasn't fully burned and content is missing.
