Star Tron has very good reviews on the internet. I did my homework on it. The ethanol they are adding to pump gas is now going up to 15%. It is nothing more than corn liquor you see them making on TV. Problem is that it turns to sugar when mixed with pure gasoline. Within 3 days of filling you're gas tanks, the reaction begins. It ruins carburetors on small engines, it causes excessive carbon build up in a car engine, noted by the black tailpipes yo see nowadays. This product helps stop that process, and pump gas can stay good for up to 2 years. I add it to my gas cans for lawn equipment, and recently started adding it to my cars gas tanks. A little goes a long way. Pump gas can mess up fuel injectors, catalytic converters, valves, spark plugs, etc. Engines were not designed to run on ethanol. It's a cheap substitute to cut back on imported oil to make gasoline. Use this product and you will have no problems with you're lawn equipment, generators, or car fuel systems. Highly recommend.
The product is easy to use as only a small amount is needed for each 5-gallon can. Is NOT oily like some additives. Pretty much all the boaters I know use it - both during the boating season and for winterization. Also does great in snow blowers and lawn mowers for off-season fuel stabilization.
I have an older Lexus V8 that is rarely driven. I recently got a check engine light and the code reader showed multiple emmisions codes. From experience, I know that summer fuel is loaded with Ethanol which tends to not do well when stored in a gas tank for extended periods of time. I used this Startron fuel treatment and reset the light. The light has not come back since. This stuff works great as a fuel stabilizer and gas treatment.
Claims for internal engine improvements are difficult to verify. Claims for improvements to performance are subjective. That said, this stuff is great! Biggest improvement this far is better mpg's.
I use it with non-ethanol fuel every tank full in my small engines. Every tank full in my motorcycles and boats. Every other tank full in my cars and trucks. Great for seasonal storage and everyday use. Lawnmowers crank right up from winter hibernation. I don't have fuel related issues thanks to Startron.
Excellent price for concentrate. 1 oz. good for 16 gallons gas after initial treatment.
Removes water, cleans injectors, and stabilizes fuel at a reasonable price. I use it in all my gasoline engines.
I have been using this for years in my classic vehicles and small engines. Never had an issue with starting….. highly recommended!!
This is my go to gas treatment for fall time when I put my lawn tractor away for the season. In the spring time I never need to worry I have bad gas.
Seems to help with gas issues on a older Mercury outboard motor. Also use in canned gas for outdoor tools and generator.
