Star Wars R2D2 Tamagotchi - Classic White Electronic Pet

What an awesome little pocket fidget! I grew up with Tamagotchi in the 90s, and it makes me so happy to see that Bandai continues to grow the brand, especially with an amazing license like Star Wars! This Classic White Star Wars R2-D2 is an excellent homage to the world's favorite on screen Droid. It gives him even more personality, and he becomes very quickly, very easy to love. He beeps, boops, but more importantly, he plays a bunch of fun mini games. It made us burst out laughing the first time the Jawas came along to kidnap our lonely R2. You also get treated to some fun surprise guest stars from the Star Wars universe too! Perfect for a kid, an adult, any Star Wars fan! Interactions are simple and fun, this little Droid is worth the trouble he excels at getting into.

For those who are unfamiliar with tamagotchis, this is one of the Nanos. This means the tamagotchi is much smaller than the originals. It also has less functions compared to other tamagotchis. But, it’s still a ton of fun! You take care of an R2D2 by feeding it and playing games. Compared to some other nano models I’ve tried, this one has many more games. You start with two games and unlock more as your R2D2 grows. This tamagotchi is perfect for anyone who is a Star Wars fan, loves tamagotchis, and doesn’t want to spend all day caring for the tamagotchi (Nanos do NOT require your constant attention, I check mine every couple of hours)!

I have been a fan of Star Wars and Tamagotchi since I was a kid and to now have them come together makes my heart so happy! They did an amazing job on the design of this adorable toy. The fun is never-ending; you'll be excited to see some special guests including Yoda, there's numerous skills that you'll help R2-D2 master plus a bunch of mini-games are unlocked as his skill level increases. It's so easy to play with and you don't need the internet! Pop him on your keychain or backpack which makes it so convenient to take care of him and you're ready for lots of on-the-go fun! You'll want to bring this little guy everywhere!!

My 10 year old is a gamer and a huge Star Wars fan AND wants a pet. I had tamagotchis in the 90s so when I seen this I just HAD TO get it as a stocking stuffer. It’s fairly simple to take care of - not a ton of work like I remember them being but that’s actually a good thing. He has unlocked extra games to play as he moves along and has seen several special guests. He loves it and I have been loving the nostalgia. Everyone says it’s smaller than normal but I just attributed that to technological advances since tamagotchis came out in the 90s. Phones back then were 2” thick, now they’re 1/4” thick. It’s size is fine for my 10 year old. Overall - Definitely would recommend and 100% would buy again! He actually asked me if there were additional characters so I will be looking for more for his birthday coming up! :)

I got this for my Star Wars obsessed daughter, and she loves it, just as i loved my Tamagotchi's at her age, but I was disappointed that it is a nano, and not a regular sized one as it is not advertised as such on Walmart.com. Regardless of size, my daughter loves it.

its ok, i get it home and trying to open the package and struggling a bit way worse then the normal packaging, turn it on and was greet with a long long time that whole speil then a few bars show up and then you have r2d2 he has 3 options during the day... energize(feed) and play and clean it does evolve but dont poop you just see a storm trooper waving his hand infront of his face theres but can see 4 differnt special guests not very fun or interactive so 2/5 stars
