Don't worry that this is plastic. It is very sturdy, and consistently peels apples perfectly. Never leaves bands of unpeeled areas, and doesn't peel too deep. There was no assembly required other than popping on the handle. Very easy to clean. Comes with a corer, wedger, and even extra blades. Great product and great value from Walmart.

I have seen my daughter use this machine and decided That I need one. I have just bought 20 pounds of apples to make a bunch of apple pies. The machine went trough the apples in a very short time, without effort. The enclosed apple corer and cutter really helped also. The suction cup feet are great for holding the machine on the counter. Cleaning is very easy. Included is a spare blade and another apple holding pick. I would recommend this if you need lots of apples to be peeled at once.

This peeler is a great asset to my kitchen appliances and gadgets. I wouldn't trade it for most anything else. It's fast, efficient and doesn't leave peelings behind when in action. Overall, this product is very well worth the money for the value.

I can't peel an apple with a knife so I bought one of these. I love it! Easy to use. There was no 15 pages of instructions where you need an engineering degree to put it together. Attach the handle, take the guard off the blade and away you go. Used this for an apple pie workshop where kids and adults used it with ease. After my initial purchase I went back and bought 5 more to use in this workshop. Numerous people who used it at the workshop purchased one for themselves.

We have many apple trees, a couple of which are Granny Smith. So I decided to make an apple pie one day with my home grown GS apples. Well, they are not the perfect big apples you get at the grocery store and it took me 2 1/2 hrs. to peel all those little apples! I decided I had to have some help if I was ever going to bake another pie, so I ordered this little peeler. Such a simple design, but boy does it do a nice job. I did have a rather difficult time removing the very hard GS apples from the prongs, but when I peeled a softer Delicious apple with it, the apple came off the prongs with ease. I have since made two more pies because it was so much fun! I did not use the corer/slicer as my apples were too small and it took too much of the apple with the core, but with a larger apple, that device would also have been very helpful to the process.

This is great for my 2 apple trees. I have hand tremors which makes peeling by hand nearly impossible. This is so easy to use. It peeled the apple in seconds. I used the slicer/corer included. When I cored the apples, every one got the remaining top apple peel off with the core. That's what a small amount was left on top. The bottom has a small amount left that I didn't even peel off. Slices are perfect for snacking & I just cut in half for pie. I like that it comes with a replacement blade, and corer/slicer for a good price. I purchased this because of the good reviews. I have only had it a couple weeks so I can't comment on how long it lasts.

I love this little peeler! It does a great job of peeling apples! The only caveat that I have is that the suction cup feet are a little weak- making sure they (or the counter) is wet, helps. This probably won't work on a tile countertop because of the need for the suction feet. Otherwise, it's just a little too lightweight to stay put on its own.

I ordered 2 that were almost identical; I'm not sure why there are two so similar. The second one has an extra piece of plastic under the apple to help pop the apple off, but that isn't a necessary feature. This one is better than the other because the handle stays on; on the other one, the handle is loose and constantly coming off. My main concern about both is how long they will last, considering that they're made of plastic. But, it did a great job of peeling apples!

SOoooo excited to receive this adorable, attractive apple peeler. My grandson and I, upon opening the box, heard something drop on the counter! It was a screw, covered in (broken plastic). Long story short: it went down hill from there! Got an apple mounted and ready to go, but, heard a (LOUD cracking sound)! The cranking handle started to jam and other plastic areas began to crack and break! It's soooo sweet looking in my red/white/black decorated kitchen. I am SOoooooooo disappointed. Of course it's going back. Walmart even had the nerve to raise the price $3.50 more, immediately after my purchase. BTW: I spend between $100.00-$200.00 doing Online Ordering w/ Walmart (every month)! Signed: Disappointed Customer!
