STEELMAN 96663 Oil Filter Cap Wrench 64mm x 14 Flute

This is an awesome, high-quality product made in Taiwan. I previously ordered a cheap one made in China, but it cracked after only two uses and I had to toss it away.

I am using it to change the oil filter on my 20hp Tohatsu outboard. Good fit, and solid quality.

Low price, good quality product. I did not have the opportunity to use it yet, however I tried the fit on the Nissan filters I have in my garage and was on the loose side. It appears that it will work, as the material is thick and will not flex. I encountered spinning on the filter trying to remove it with my old stamped metal oil filter wrench, the reason I purchased this one. I will see how it works on my next oil change.

We use this in the Auto Care center for every internal filter Toyota. I figured I would be wise to get one for my car as well. It has a decent grip, it's sturdy and a little weighty. Compared to the thin stamped sheet metal Steelman 64mm socket, this thing is a beast. The 21mm hex comes in handy for when the last guy put the filter housing on with the might of God. Break it loose with a combo wrench and it's good to ratchet off. I think it's a little expensive for what it is, but it will be the last 64mm filter socket you ever buy.
