Step2 101 Piece Plastic Kids Play Food Playset for Toy Kitchen

They are great little accessories, HOWEVER, the amount is just too much. I keep more than half in a box on top of his little kitchen. Otherwise it's a pain to clean up. My 2 yo son has a blast with them though, and it's something my 9 yo step daughter can join in playing with him. He likes pretending to eat the food and cook on his stove. Great purchase overall.

I find this food set to be something that will stand up to the torture that 2 and 3 year old boys can dish out. This will allow them to cook in their new kitchen while I am in the kitchen cooking, letting them learn about cooking and food items in their own space. They are sure to get plenty of use from this set since my family usually gets in the kitchen to cook together. I wish had bought this earlier! Great Item!

This item came with the purchase of the step 2 Kitchen. I would probably not have known to purchase it, but I am very glad it came with the item I purchased. Had I known how much it would be played with I would have ordered it anyhow. I am very pleased with how much attention it has gotten in my daycare.

This play food seems to be pretty durable so far. I think the food may vary in texture because I read in a previous review that the bacon and tortilla were made from a rubbery flexible material, but mine is made from a hard solid plastic and i'm afraid my son might crack them in half if he tries to bend them. He has the American plastics Cookin kitchen and some of the food doesn't fit in the pans that came with it, but those pans are VERY TINY. If you have a step2 kitchen the food should fit fine. Other than those minor problems it is a nice set for the price and my son loves it.

I really like this product. At first the size caught me off guard but when you look at the food, it is true-to-life size. It's definitely not the chunky, plasticy food that other companies were offering. My daughter (4 yr) likes to pretend and i know she is going to love this product!

I was hesitant to buy this pack of play food at first due to the price. There was a cheaper offbrand but I didn't want to get the food and it just collapse after one play session. So I went ahead and bought this for my little girl who is 2 years old. The scale of the pieces are a bit smaller than the real thing but they aren't choking hazards. Most of the pieces are hard, so they don't collapse very easy and there is a large variety of different foods to play with. Overall, it was worth the money. My daughter is going to love it come Christmas time. I hope this review helped you decide. :)

My only disappointment for this is that I specifically was looking for an American made product. I ordered a child's ply thing from what I thought to be an American toy company. When the product arrived the box says made in China. Very sad for that reason. The product was what I wanted I just wish it had been made in America like I thought.

Purchased this food pack for play kitchen because it was rated for age 2, still had a few small pieces that need to be removed. Had some odd foods, would like to have more basics for learning. This was only food for play kitchen I could find that said age 2, everything else rated for age 3 is why I picked this one.

Disappointed with the size, appearance and quality of material- older versions of this toy are infinitely better and I will likely try just finding and buying the discontinued version secondhand from now on rather than new
