Over 15 years ago, I was told I was gluten intolerant by my Dr. My birthday was just around the corner and I wanted to smoke some ribs. I had to read all of the labels on the barbecue sauces until I found Stubbs. I'm from Texas and had heard about their restaurant in Austin and I'd thought about buying Stubbs before, but it's kind of expensive compared to the other sauces I'd used... I'd always have to soup up the other sauces because they were either too sweet or not spicy enough. I wanted to show my girlfriend at the time that I was trying to get the healthier stuff for me, so I spent the extra $1.50 on the Stubbs. To my delight, Stubbs was the best bbq sauce I'd ever bought in a grocery store. It tasted like the kind of sauce you'd find in the best BBQ restaurants! Don't be fooled by the plain label... it's fantastic! It's not too sweet and its original version is pretty spicy and it doesn't have that taste that every grocery store BBQ sauce seems to have! I highly recommend that you give it a try! I am always complimented on how great my meat cooked on my smoker tastes and it's definitely the sauce I use that they're talking about. Thank you Stubbs for making and selling the best BBQ sauce you can buy!!!
STOP! Look no farther. Stubbs IS the best BBQ sauce on the market. everything about it is excellent. they also have several flavors that compliment and complete and dish. from sweet to hot to smooth and sticky. Stubbs has it all. i like to mix the sweet and sticky with spicy for my brisket sandwhiches. this is good stuff and a name you can trust
I am addicted to Stubb's Original Barbecue Sauce. This is by far one of the best on the market. That is just my option and in my house that is all that counts. Stubb's Original Barbecue Sauce add just the right amount of tanginess and a hint of sweet with no after taste. I could take a bath in this BBQ Sauce.
My favorite BBQ sauce. All of his flavors. low in sugar. Nothing Artificial. For me, there is no other Sauce.
This is a good cooked in barbecue sauce. This is my go-to if I am placing some meat and sauce in the crock pot. Or if I coat the meat before placing on the grill/smoker. It has a great flavor when it is cooked into the meat. It is great on any meat.
amazing barbecue sauce. it is low calorie compared to other sauces because it does not contain high fructose corn syrup. it is not thick for this reason as well, it is thin and runny. a little bit goes a long way, I dip my chicken in this like a sauce. the taste is like Smokey and barbecuey. it is not sweet but smooth and spicy without being too spicy. It is also a gluten free product which is a plus.
This is Bar-be-que your parents would have had - or grandparents. sweet, spicy, tomatoey flavor. No one flavor out does the other all are perfectly balanced to enhance your favorite meats or as a dip for home fries.
This is the perfect blend of tangy with a hint of sweetness. Not too sweet but just the right amount to balance with the flavor of the barbecue sauce. This is hands down my absolute favorite barbecue sauce and my family loves it when I use it to make my BBQ chicken sliders for them. My husband likes to use it on his rack of ribs to serve up Texas-style BBQ. Highly recommended!
This sauce was just ok for me. It was a little on the bland side and was missing the kick I was hoping it would have. I would try another flavor by this brand though because the texture and consistency were really good.
I think it's a little bland. It could use a lot more vinegar and some spices. It is nice and thick, though.
