Suave Styling Aid Men Paste 1.75 FO

I like this product a lot. Have been using it for a long time - pretty much since it came out. The price point and performance have kept me coming back. However, local WalMarts have stopped carrying it or have such low quantities that it is never on the shelves. Had to buy in bulk thru the website to get a stash of it because it seems difficult to procure. Is it being discontinued? I hope not! Performs as good or better than the other similar hair pastes and at half the cost!

I enjoy the texture of this paste and the mild fragrance. It doesn't leave my hair crispy or shiny, especially if I apply it after my hair is mostly dry. It holds my hair in place the whole day. Unilever, Suave's parent company, has marketed a paste under their Dove brand that is twice as expensive and, in my opinion, not as good. Thanks to Walmart for attempting to keep this in stock.

I haven't been able to find Suave Men's styling paste for MONTHS. I looked everywhere and nobody had it in stock. I thought it was discontinued. This is the only product that works for my pixie cut without looking greasy, dirty and it's easy to wash off of hands and out of hair. It holds my fine hair all day. Smells decent, not manly or overly perfumy. Cannot smell it once my hair is styled.

Works great. A little sticky when you are putting it on, but once it sets in, it is great. Yo are able to reshape as you please. Holds pretty strong.

Nice hold, but it like of smells like straw. At first it was off-putting, but then Susie at the coffee shop, who grew up on a farm in Utah, started paying attention to me. So, now I'm all about this product. Hello farm girls.

I use this on my short beard. My beard tends to be curly and I use this to straighten it out a bit. Works great. If it had the word "beard" on the label, it would cost twice the price!

good product that is very cost effective and holds pretty good. Only downside is that the hold does not last all day but my hair starts to fizz around hour 6 to 8 which is fine because i am usually done with work by then. Great value

I was hoping that this product would be a good, cheap find. It turns out that it was just a cheap find. It doesn't hold great. It leaves my hair greasy. I will spend a few more dollars for a better product.

Not a fan. Has the consistency of whipped cream sour cream; therefore, it's not dense enough to have any holding power. Maybe it's good for fine or thin hair, but for medium hair, it doesn't seem strong enough. I've used Equate Medium Pomade (original) and Equate Strong Hold Styling Fiber. Both are superior in hold, texture (feel less greasy), and subjectively, fragrance.

This used to be a 10-star product but the formula changed, the last order I received, it is no longer matte finish and it smells different, and it doesn’t hold the same. I’m dissappointed :-(
