I keep one of these in my car, and one in my carry bag I take inside when I get home. In our North winter weather, you never know when things are going to get iced up. Door locks at home, door locks on your car, etc. Insert where the key goes, wait a little while, then try to put your key in. Must have if you are in the northern tiers of USA where temps get below 0 degrees F.

This lock de-icer is a great product! Every time my car doors freeze up or the door to my gas tank freezes, i just squirt a little lock de-icer in the cracks and corners and the doors open like magic! However, it's best to use it just before snow falls and just before temperatures drop really low! But product works however and whenever you use it!

Very good for the value. Learn from my mistakes: Do not get any of this on your clothes or even on your skin. If you use too much in a bike lock it may drip on clothing and it ruins them fast. The label says wash skin for 15 minutes if it gets in your skin. Not even talking only about your eyes but anywhere on your skin. For eyes 15 minutes plus call emergency. It works on bike locks but not instantly. I used too much for instant results. It takes at least a few hours to work. After that keep it lubed. If the lock seems lubed you don't need to reapply, but every few days maybe a spray inside, or two, just to make sure you're good all winter for your bike lock.

purchased this when I had freezing rain and my outside locked mailbox froze up. use it to unkock frozen lock.

Great item. Worked like a charm. I only had to use it once and my door lock (outside door) opened right up.

I use on my pull door handle that can freeze. Squeeze a little in crack of handle and car door works again and I can get in my car.

I haven't used this one yet and have purchased similar car lock de icers, i'm sure this will work just as well

great product easy to use

Tried it once 3 days ago on a locked door knob. After repeated attempts I had to get a propane torch to warm the lock and thaw it out. The deicer didn't do anything but waste my time. Why 2 stars then you ask? Well 1 is because I must and the 2nd is because it looks good and does easily fit in my coat pocket. Bottom line is it SUCKS and didn't even affect the lock at all.

I thought this would be the perfect remedy for my Frozen car door lock unfortunately the product did not fit into my key hole because mine is rectangular and the small nozzle on the de-icer is round so it's actually a waste of money
