Summit 20 Count Slow Release Mosquito Dunks

I've been purchasing these ever since I heard about them about five years ago and I've been using them ever since. They're great for keeping the mosquito population down, not eliminated, but controlled. I put them in my birdbaths, wildlife water bowls and fountains. They don't kill the mosquitoes or larvae, but keep the larvae from hatching into mosquitoes. They work for me. I notice the large difference in mosquitoes when I don't use these. That is when I go buy more. With this big 20pack, I won't run out. The price is great too. I live down in the Deep South, the Delta and mosquitoes are a nuisance. With all the diseases they carry, I don't like the idea of having any of them multiply. Hate mosquitoes? Try this and you won't be disappointed.

I have 9, five gallon buckets around my yard of 0.65 acres. I have seen a tremendous decline of mosquito activity in the last 3 years I've been using these. I put a quarter of a round in each bucket and keep it half filled with water each month. The 20 pack lasts a whole year with a little left over. Well worth it at a bit less than $25.00. Safe for dogs and other animals around my yard.

We have used these for years at our 7 acre property. There are many areas that hold water. Chunk these out and the mosquito's don't hatch. They have put a MAJOR dent in the population. I love that they don't harm our dogs, the deer, or any other wildlife. We also use the granules where appropriate.

Using mosquito dunks requires a bit of thought. They kill mosquito larvae not adult mosquitoes. You must put the dunk in a place with standing water in your yard, which is what mosquitoes are looking for when laying their eggs. Empty all other water in your yard .. remember that old tire lying in the yard has some rainwater and makes a great place to incubate mosquitoes (I put a piece of dunk in mine). Either empty it and get rid of it or put a piece of a dunk inside. One dunk treats quite a bit of water. I noticed a huge reduction in mosquitoes in a week and after a second week (as more of the adults die off naturally, being short-lived) after week 2 very few mosquitoes. I will be using dunks from now on.

I have used mosquito dunks for years, started buying online because of availability. Product does indeed work as claimed maybe better. Marvin gardens shipped really fast. We live where the post office doesn't deliver and ups does, 4 days later we have them. Very good place to buy from.

The product works great. The seller states multiple times in the description of the add that this is 2-20 packs. When I ordered 3 I only received 3, not 6 like the description implies. When I contacted the seller, they did not respond. They did not send the missing item or refund any money.

Packaging is awful. I don't have any good way to test the biological activity of product but the packaging is so bad I would not purchase it again. The cardboard back comes off spontaneously in places and is so hard to remove in other places you have to individually cut the dunks out. Save your money and buy from another source.
