Sun2Solar Rectangle 1200 Series Blue Swimming Pool Solar Cover, 12' x 18'

We purchased the 1600 series to keep our heated pool from losing too many degrees during colder Florida nights. It does that very well and as a bonus keeps the small bugs off the water and sinking. Less vacuuming. Shopped very fast, highly recommended.

The cover came in a sturdy box, it was easy to unroll. We unrolled it across pool and easily trimmed it around our kidney shaped pool. It's October in Delaware and still reach a temperature in the 80's in the pool without the heater. It really extends our season. With the help of the sun we love the bubble cover !!!

Ordering the pool cover was easy. It shipped and received in only a few days. It's cold up here in Michigan right now so the cover is not on the pool yet.

So far the solar cover reel looks good and the aluminum tubing looks to be sturdy enough for the 24 ft solar cover. The issue I have so far is the crank wheel is slipping with the aluminum tube. There is no place to place a screw or bolt. That would be a necessary addition to the to the reel. Instructions need to be a little more informative where they currently are vague. The reel is new and recently installed. Hopefully this will be something that will hold up. I don't like purchasing items that may last one season.

the cover I ordered came packaged great. I also ordered an extra set of quick drain grommets. When I opened and spread out the cover, there were no grommets provided with the cover. My question is : Does a set of quick drain grommets come with the cover? Did I have to order a set along with the cover at an extra cost?

I just installed it on the pool. It fairly well better than the last one I got two years ago. They never seem to last what is advertised. I hav come to the conclusion that I just buy the cheapest one a year.

The cover is wrinkled, but I suppose it will flatten out over time. Right now it doesn't roll very well. However, thr color is a deep beautiful ble. It looks good.

Shipping was very fast, received within 24 hours of ordering. We ordered a round solar cover and it's a little frustrating that the size is bigger than the ordered dimensions, but the description of the product does say they run big so they can be trimmed.

Why would you ask for a review of something I've only had a chance to use for 3 days Seems fine so far but the proof of how good this solar blanket might be won't be for a year or three

I hope this one lasts longer than a year. My last one I bought {last year} started ripping before the season was up. Others I have bought used to last for 2-3 years, so we will see how this one goes.
