Sunbeam 12" x 15" Heating Pad with Controller and 3 Heat Settings, Newport Blue

11 years ago I had my left leg amputated. And I found that I had been in pain which is patent very painful and less sometime five days while taking heavy medication also every day and afternoon when I pull my leg off my Cut nerves would act up and less for 6 to 12 hours meaning no sleep. And I discovered my stop was cold and I bought this heat pad. Within 45 minutes No pain slept on it through. Jerry

I’m pregnant and have hip pain, it gets verryyyyyy hot to the point I’ll just turn it on to get it warm then turn it off so it’ll cool down, it’s great so now I don’t have to keep switching sides at night, only thing is it says don’t lay on it and honestly I do because all pregnant women know that’s when the pain comes lol but I turn it on and let it take the pain away while my hip is in it then I turn it back off and it takes a min for it to cool down which is great, I guess other people got some defective ones but I’m very picky when I comes to hear just like my shower and mines….gets….hot!

I just received this item today and absolutely love it! I plugged it up soon as I got it to relieve my arthritis pain and noticed its actually working. The delivery was fast so I didnt have to wait long to receive it. If your having any joint pain this product will definitely help with the pain.

I love that it doesn't have an automatic shut off! I was so happy to find a heating pad that I can plug into a wifi controlled outlet and wake up to a warm bed on cold mornings, or go to bed that is already warm for you! I really dislike that all the heating blankets have an automatic shut off, I don't need heating all throughout the night, just and hour or so at bedtime, and then and hour in the morning so I can wake up with a nice warm bed, and warm loosened back muscles to start my day!

I ordered this heating pad because of the reputation of Sunbeam products, along with my personal history of owning Sunbeam products. The fabric covering on this heating pad seemed a bit thin, but otherwise it served its purpose well--bringing comfort for arthritic back pain.

I like this heating pad because It does not shut off unless you turn it off. I use it for my 16 yr.old dog to lay on. I have two, one for the daytime and one for at night. I also use it for my wheping box to keep my newborn puppies warm. They have lasted me years, and I have never had one that gave off a odor. For the price and what I use them for, I counldn't be more satisfied.

I got this because of pain in my back. This works well for 5-10 minutes then seems to get less hot and you have to turn it off a little and back on again. I would assume it is a safety feature as not to burn yourself. I borrowed one that is older from my mom and that one burned my back the heat was on that long so I guess maybe it was changed in the newer models due to risk of burning your skin. Other than that it does the job and was cheap.

It definitely works. It gets warm. I'm using for pets. However, I've seen other people complain about smells of products and honesty I've always laughed to myself over those reviews, but I have to admit the smell of burning plastic is so strong it made me light headed. I immediately took it out of the cover to check it to see if it was burning anywhere, then checked the plug. Nothing was burning, so I assumed was just the new smell of turning it on and it heating for the first time. I've used it now twice, both times for multiple hours and both times this smell has not subsided. I've had to crack the door to let fresh air in and the awful smell out which kind of defeats the purpose of keeping them warm now that I have to open the door and let the cold air in. I'm torn on what to do because I know it works and I'm hoping this smell eventually works itself out. I guess I'll check the return information on it and make sure I don't get stuck with it if I decide to return it because it hasn't dissipated by then, especially because I bought 2. Two years ago I bought another brand and they shorted out this year so that's why I tried something new this year. 2 years wasn't very long in my opinion, shame because I was extremely happy with those. I'll come back closer to the return date and update the review and let you know how things turned out.

I purchased thisheating pad and when I took it home and try to use it it barely got hot on high setting. Even if you took off the outer cover it barely got warm on high. Took it back to the store and was told could not return it because it came out of the pharmacy department and because of the cobid pandemic. They did not post this online when ordering it online. Wal-Mart is just ripping off customers so they do not have to refund people for a bad product. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.

It was cheap, and I definitely got what I paid for. It gets hot, but doesnt feel like it stays hot. The worst thing about this heating pad is how it does not maintain its shape. It scrunches up like an old tissue and thats the best way I can describe it. Dont be cheap like me. Buy something a little more expensive and worth the money.
