Perfect in every way!

Erica November 14, 2025

Bought this for myself for a past hospital admission at Cleveland Clinic for my son. He likes the room to be cold all of the time and I just can't handle it sometimes. I'm also not a fan of the weight of piling on blankets just to stay warm. So I purchased this blanket and it was and it was absolutely perfect! It's soft, warm, adjustable temperature wise, and the perfect size to wrap yourself into a burrito if you need to! Haha

Pretty good except for light and heated width

Anonymous February 23, 2026

ITs good. I bought it to replace a queen size and was tired of the 2 controls and an 18 inch space in-between left and right side of a queen size blanket I didn't like as it would be cold in-between these sets of wire. I live by myself and wanted the whole bed to be heated. So i gave up the 2 controls to have continuous heating over the whole bed. The only other thing I don't like of Sunbeam is that they started putting more space in-between wires for a total width of only 18-20 inches of heated blanket on each side with a queen size which is another reason I bought a FULL size for a wider width of heating. And the dial lights up too bright even though it dims down after a few seconds. I have the control hang down over my headboard rather than sitting on a table, so i turn the control around 180degrees so the lighted dial points towards the headboard not bothering me with the bright light shining down on me. They don't make things the way they used to which was always better than how they design things today with no common sense in mind these days!! I dont like how anything is manufactured today, compared to the 1970s to 2000 when things were designed with quality in mind -NOT ANY MORE. All they care about now is taking your money, not support or quality...

Great quality and I'm happy it could be brought over from another town only 25 miles away (therefore no shipping). Walmart charges exorbitant “location fees” when items are brought from the contiguous states, prices that more than double for larger items like furniture. If I can't find it locally I shop Amazon for these things now. Glad I found this item somewhat locally.

Thin material

Tiffany October 20, 2025

Thin material, soft blanket material. Can feel the wires, very noticeable. I like the new remote, it's nice and small. Good brand I usually get them. But, unfortunately the blankets don't last long maybe a year at most, then stops heating up and wires get moved around in the blanket. Otherwise, great product.

throw blanket is a better value

thabiigcheez February 10, 2026

all in all the blanket does its job however it does have pitfalls let's start with what's good. I like that you can set the timer for how long you want this to work for if you said it to 12 it will operate and produce heat for 12 hours and turn itself off automatically. if you said it to one it will operate for 1 hour and turn itself off and this applies only to the timer button. you can increase the temperature also between one and 12. the wires that run through the microfiber blanket are highly noticeable and can be slightly irritating. there are loose strands that get hung up on my toenails on occasion. the wire is very long and the control pad is very easy to figure out. this can't actually get hot enough to burn some people with sensitive skin so be cautious and don't lay on top of it always use this on top of you and not for kids. all in all I wish I had just gotten the throw blanket.

It's not amazing

Lee January 19, 2026

This is basically a blanket with wires in it. Parts of it heat up on the outter edges. It has a giant cold spot in the middle that never heats up. I would not recommend this blanket. We are used to purchasing a heated blanket and using it for several years and this one probably won't last the whole season. The control is nice and I like the timer function.

Wires don't go across the whole blanket.

Tina January 15, 2026

I have bought Sunbeam electric blankets for years. I bought my mom one for Christmas years ago. They use to be thick and the wires ran across the whole blanket except for around the edges. I needed a new blanket so I purchased a Sunbeam like I always do and boy was I disappointed. The blanket was soft but not very thick and the wires only run about 8 rows on each side and thats it, just where a person's body would be. Hopefully you aren't on the bigger side or the wires just aren't going to cover you. For a queen size electric blanket thats terrible. About 8" in the middle of the blanket doesn't have wire so that part is cold. I expected better than this from Sunbeam. The electric blanket wasn't cheap either. I pad $100.00 for it. People work hard for there money and $100.00 isn't easy to come by. Do better Sunbeam!

Received this today, plugged it into the wall and was excited because it had good reviews. However, very disappointed :( barely got warm and only got warm in a few areas. I will be returning this tomorrow and getting another one. Hopefully the one I replace this with will be better then this. It is very soft and I do love the color. Wish it worked.

Don't buy!

Janie November 4, 2025

The first time using this electric blanket I had to put it on 5 level and could barely feel any heat. The next time I turned it up to 7 couldn't feel anything, even to 8. It stopped working. I'm going to try to return it. For $125 is expensive for 1 night of barely to no heat.
