Sunbeam Moist/Dry Heating Pad, Model 731-5

Purchased pad for our outdoor cat during the Cold Winter time. She used to move from spot to spot every few days. Now that I set it up in the garage and have it on constantly she loves it and she stays there

I keep it on low in a favorite chair to keep my dog confortable and happy through these cold rainy months. When visitors drop by they claim priority and enjoy the heated seat just as much.

This is a bit unorthodox, but I bought this product as a tide over interim product while waiting for a microwaveable heating pad to arrive for a baby hedgehog my daughter received for Christmas. Two days before Santa arrives is not a good time to discover you need a heat source for little critters like this who are cold-sensitive--no pressure, right? Any way, I had to have steady heat, and this pad worked fine until the recommended pad arrived. I haven't purchased one for many years, so glad to have it around and know it doesn't have any issues. I would definitely buy again--the price was very reasonable.

I actually purchased this for my cat that refuses to live indoors. He has his own house on my front porch and I line it with blankets and a heating pad every Winton keep him safe and warm. It's so cute how he comes out of there to eat on a cold winter day all sleepy eyed because he's cozy sleeping on his heating pad. Many heating pads have the auto shut off feature, not a good thing for my use... perfect item for us.

This was just what I wanted. Most heating pads turn off automatically and I need one stay on throughout the night. I confess for my Little dog needs to stay warm throughout the night. I put it under her bed and several layers of blankets and on the low setting is just perfect. Thank you

My husband fell and now has several badly bruised ribs that the Dr. said to treat with Heat to help with the pain. I knew he needed a good heating pad, but he insisted that he did not! So I just went into the office where my PC is and started looking. I chose this heating pad for the 9ft power cord and the choice of settings, size and option of moist heat. For not wanting something, he sure takes it from his recliner to his bed and back a lot! My husband LIKES it, which means a lot in his language!

I bought 3 pads last month 1for my sister 1for myself and the last one is under our cats outside (garage) bed they are perfect for what I wanted and I needed a good safe product n that's exactly what I got. Today I'm going to order the neck n shoulder pad it will be perfect for her for Christmas as she's a nursing student n gets alot of neck n shoulder pain from studying

I bought this item to help relieve the sore and tense muscle for my 10 yr old that developed pain in her muscle from a virus. The doctor made a suggestion to keep heat on it. This worked fine for my daughter the only thing I didn't like is it doesn't automatically shut off. Good item though.

The heating pad heats fine but with cover on, heat is not felt much on the body. Without the cover, heat is felt which is how it should be. But the instructions are not to remove cover while in use. I am not sure if this is due to safety reason or fear of lawsuit in the event of injury, but the pad is not helpful with the cover on. I use it without cover for short duration.

I'm using my heating pad several hours per day while waiting for lower level back surgery. I have a hard time keeping it from bunching up into a ball even though I'm sitting in a brand new comfy chair while using it. The heating pad I replaced (20+ years) did bunch up a little but nothing like this new one. You need to go back to the old style and ditch this new one's manufacturing materials.
