Sunbeam Standard Size Heating Pad with Moist Heat Sponge for Muscle Ache, 12" x 15"

I was delighted to find that Sunbeam still makes a simple and budget friendly model of heating pad. The slide switch is easy to operate, the indicator light lets me see with a glance if it is on, and the setting is clearly marked. I use this product in a rather non-traditional way; it's attached to a frame to serve as a substitute hen for young chicks. This is an occasion where an automatic shut-off would be a problem. As I'd hoped, it lacks this feature. I received this heating pad and immediately tested it for even and comfortable heating; it meets expectations . My previous (identical) heating pad is still in service more than a decade later. When I found that I needed two this year. I didn't hesitate to get another just like it. This isn't a pad that goes in the washing machine but the fabric cover is easy to remove, wash, and put back on. The pad itself can be wiped down with a damp cloth.

I love this heating pad. It is reasonably priced. The basic, standard size. Simple to use. I use it on various areas of body. Sometimes my back, sometimes my ankle, sometimes a hand for mild arthritis of joints. During the cold winter months, I use it to warm up, like people used to use hot water bottles.

I had this same heating pad for many years and after all this time it finally wore out so I replaced it with a new one very similar. It is working well and I like it.

this product has been around for a long time and this is the 2nd one I've bought. My other one lasted for many years before finally kicking the bucket. I'm sure this one will be just as good!

sunbeam is a great brand but this heating pad states that it comes with a sponge for moist heat and it doesn't. I gave 3 stars because I love sunbeam and they refused my purchase.

I didn't realize this was made of plastic. Not comfortable, and I hate plastic. My fault, I didn't read the description well enough. The picture was deceiving. It will work out ok.

False advertising. Indicated it could be used as a moist heating pad but did not have the sponge that you wet and put inside the cover. I also ordered another moist heating pad for only $8.99 and it does have the pad. These companies should be ashamed of their lies.
