Love this! Much better than crappy manual hose reels that get heavy and difficult to turn, tip over and harbors weeds and bugs. Exactly what I was looking for. Slightly bigger overall size but other than that, very pleased. I think Drawer in front is bit of a waste but stays shut once in place

I received in the fall of the year and used it once before the winter. It is convenient to automatically reel this hose back because hoses are heavy! You do have to guide it so it will rewind neatly. Also, I drained the hose and connections and bought a cover so I could leave it in place during the winter. When winter is over I will leave the next review to see how it holds up in winter.

Super convenient! Saves back and arms while winding in the hose. Got one for my elderly Mother-in-law a few years ago and it has worked flawlessly. Looks nice and it is sturdy. Powerful motor pulls in and winds hose evenly across the spool. Walmart online shopping had a very reasonable price and it was delivered very quickly.

There is nothing to dislike about this hose reel. Powerful motor and long lasting battery! I am surprised how quickly it reels the hose in effortlessly! The stakes hold box solid to the ground. Easy to pull the hose out also! 👍

Was working just great. However, today the motor started to go on and off periodically. Finally started working normally. I have two others that have worked just fine for the past six months.

Regarding the hose reel, I love it!! This was my 2nd purchase. However, upon opening the box, I noticed the parts had been opened %26 repacked. Further I inspection revealed, the Smart Reel wind mechanism had been broken- therefore I received a damaged item. I returned item asap and still I still haven't heard from Walmart regarding my exchange.

In less than 2 days it stopped working all together. We charged the battery and I still did not work. The wires are loose and are secure. I had to send it back. Also If you have to return it Custer care wants you to pick it up (IT'S VERY HEAVY) and return it to Fed Ex. Keep that in mind. One agent said that we would set up a pick from Fed ex that never happened. Called back and was told to drop it at fed ex. FYI, this is my send one. The first one died after a year and thought to give it another chance. Called to use my warranty and got the run around. Buy with caution. You'll never receive what you paid for. Look else-where.

made of low grade plastic that easily cracks... not many other options on the market for a zelf winding option so i bought this twice hoping i could make it work as i have a bad shoulder, first one i put a 100 foot light weight hose and it cracked within a month, second one i put a 50 foot light weight hose, cracked within 6 weeks, now it is on the curb with my trash, dont waste your money like i did!

The battery will only last long enough for me to wind up half of the hose one time, then it has to be recharged. I have an older version of this hose reel and the charged battery with it lasts for months.
