Suncast 150ft. Hose Hideaway Hose Reel, Gray

I needed a hose reel for a garden hose that I own. I bought this because my garden hose is a 100 foot hose and this will hold up to 175 feet. It came assembled and is of good quality. It will protect my hose from sun and weather related issues. A must have.

Really liked this for our hose and it looks much better than it sitting on the ground. We have a very heavy duty 50 foot hose, so it's too heavy to reel in without someone holding the box and making sure it doesn't move, but with a normal everyday hose this product would work perfectly. Very happy with the appearance and overall quality!

Decent. Holds up well. And the handle is easy to use. But it is somewhat light weight. If you're going to be using your hose at a distance and at an angle it will slide around the ground. Otherwise, I'm glad I bought it.

Very cheaply made. Claims to hold up to 150 foot of hose. Im would not recomend going over 50 ft. I have a 100 ft hose in it and it is very hard to roll out and back up again. You will have to anchor it to the gound somehow or it will slide all over the place. I will keep it but plan on buying a better quality reel and will give this one to our daughter in law, she onlyb has about a 50 ft hose so it should be ok for that

It is difficult to roll the hose back up. There is no support on the item to put your foot on to keep it from jumping around. I would not recommend it.

This hose box looks good, but that is the end of the "pros" list on this particular one. I've had Suncast hose boxes before and really liked them, but this one is lighter and gets dragged around and even falls over because of the weight of reeling or unreeling a 150ft hose. It is simply too lightweight to sit in place when the hose is being reeled in or out. Unfortunately, I also missed a very key point in the description; this reel does not automatically feed your hose back and forth so that it goes on the reel evenly. YOU have to feed it back and forth, which is nearly impossible unless you're an octopus, because you must brace the box with your legs to keep it from moving around or falling over, reel with one hand, and then guide the hose back and forth with the other hand. Honestly, it's pretty worthless if you actually need to use a significant length of hose. Now if you have a tiny courtyard type of yard and you only need 15 feet unreeled, you might do ok with this if you have a long hose to weight the box down. Otherwise, I strongly suggest you choose another product. That's what I'm going to have to do now...

Bad experience. Walmart sent wrong item. Walmart shows listings for two very similar items, The one I ordered has the “super tube” brass fittings. The one they sent did not have this feature. Should be two different SKUs, two different product codes. Called customer service 3x to ask for replacement. Spoke with live agent (likely overseas) who promised replacement. Never happened. Last time asked for a replacement from AI - at least it responded with a email for returning the item. We'll see if replacement arrives. Had to give a star to submit review, don't think they deserve any stars

Don't buy this hose box. It's a horrible, cheap plastic hose box that doesn't work well at all. Reeling it into the box is a real challenge because you have to keep the lid open to use the guide with one hand and then try to reel one handed. It takes two hands just to reel it in, so I had to ask my neighbor to with it. There is also no way to easily anchor. If you have it on a cement slab it does not stay in one place by itself. I really hope I can still negotiate a return.

The walmart driver delivered a broken product and missing parts to my porch. The side wall retaining tabs are all broken on one wall. How could the driver not seen a broken item?

This is not as sturdy as it should be. I cannot get it to stop leaking, and I should have bought a more durable hose container. It does not even have a hole for your foot to fit thru to hold down the container as you're trying to wind up the hose.
