my wife bought this for training to swim for her triathlon. this buoy definitely helped her gain confidence to swim on her own. its also easy to use and is no really big in size.
this is just fantastic for water resistant exercise for those recorvering from injury and need to exercise. obviously its great for its regular purposes.too but helps with physical therpay water exercise support too
very good product
When in the pool I like to put the water to work for me. One can get much exercise in the pool. I like to swim laps. When I received this buoy, I was excited to give it a try. I used it several ways. My favorite being as a foot rest. I rest my feel on top of it and exercise my arms and core. I also like to hold it between my hips and strengthen my core. A great tool for water aerobics.
This works great for teaching little ones to float on their back or to just try and swim. It also was a nice workout for my self. You can feel it working in your arms when you do front strokes. When I wasn't doing swimming strokes it was comforting to put between you legs and just float sitting up in the water. Or lay on your back and float. Made well, will last for a long time. Highly recommend this item!
My five year old has been taking swimming lessons and has had trouble trying to float on his bag. His legs always go down and then he sinks. He was getting frustrated, so we thought we'd give this a try. It's such a simple thing but it's made a world of difference in helping him gain the confidence he needs to stay safe in the pool. It was a bit large for him but we were able to use it anyway!
I'm not sure which size I got. I believe it's not for adults. But it's OK, I'm a swimmer and it just adds more effort to stay afloat while exercising harder on upper body while swimming. Quality overall seems good.
I wasn't quite sure how this would work. Took my niece to the pool and watched her try to swim. She can, it's a little all over the place, but she does it. Took the leg float and positioned it between thighs and knees. After several attempts of her getting used to the device, low and behold her swimming improved. It worked by helping her keep her legs in position. Needless to say she went home with it. Her mom said she is sharing with her friends at school and they all like it and some want them. Impressed with this leg float training aid.
This pool training aid is great for using to help my 11 and 8 year old kids learn to swim. I think it's a bit on the smaller side for adults though. I have the kids use it across their hips and it helps to keep their core supported while they learn to coordinate arm and leg movements. Even after a month its holding up pretty well and still looks good as new.
Only part of my order came. It's been six weeks and it is stuck in transportation and I can't get any info
