As a Wal-Mart associate I purchase most items from Wal-Mart because I know I can get good quality and save money and this item is no exception. Great value for the money easy to put together takes very little space. I can ride it while watching TV.
At first I was very apprehensive about getting it together but after I took the time to sort it out and read the directions it was not that difficult, and I am a woman. It was everything I expected.
im pretty content, but it took two tries. the first machine i ordered had a major manufacturing defect- the main sprocket was freaking WARPED. pro tip: turn the pedals and listen for grinding noises BEFORE assembly. def the kind of thing you DONT buy if you don't have a first rate return policy to fall back on. getting the gosh darn pieces out of the packaging is harder than the assembly, and the "spanners" provided are good for a chuckle. the second one works just fine. you wouldn't describe it as a magnificent piece of equipment, but at the price point you ought to be just hoping for basic functionality, and it definitely has that.
The instructions could have been a bit more detailed. For instance, it didn't indicate how tightly to tighten screws or which sleeving to turn the funny looking washers when assembling the pedals. But other than those little issues, I was very pleased to have completed the assembly within an hour. Most of it is all already done for you. Just take your time and read the instructions, it all pretty much falls into place. After a 12 minute ride, which was both challenging and great, I found the handle bars to be somewhat wobbly with no way to tighten them. Hopefully they won't get worse with more use. Otherwise, the bike feels pretty great and it's lighter than I expected.
The fan wheel is too loud.
I had been trying to decide when I should buy this exercise bike ,it had been out of stock . I purchased it on online. I received it on Monday evening, I opened up the box Tuesday afternoon, I was totally disappointed and shocked, " Are you kidding no peddles to ride the bike. I called Sunny health customer service 3 times and sent at least 3 emails asking when can I expect to receive the missing parts. I waiting to receive the missing parts on Monday
Upon opening the box a bunch of hard, loose granules (like from asphalt shingles) started falling out all over the floor. The granules were also found throughout the rest of the packaging. We brushed the loose granules off the components and the assembly was easy and straightforward. The arm handles are somewhat flimsy and have a bit of play in them even when fully tightened, but otherwise the bike feels solid and stable. Unfortunately, from the first time we used the bike there was a continual grinding chain noise along with sporadic clinging. My husband took the chain cover off and noticed more of the granules were caked all over the heavily greased sprocket and chain. He wiped as much of the granules off the chain and sprocket as possible - this helped some, but the grinding noise is still present. He's not thrilled about the idea of fully removing the chain and sprocket to thoroughly clean a brand new exercise bike but that's probably the next step. We just hope the metal isn't worn from the minimal use it incurred during our troubleshooting. We're also not convinced that this will fix the sporadic clinging - hopefully its not some sort of drive train alignment issue or chain deformity. If it weren't for the issue noted above, we would be happy with the product at this price-point. However, the chain/sprocket noise makes the unit feel cheap and the user experience isn't enjoyable.
The pedals are not adjustable in length for my legs. It is very painful to use if I cannot make the length different.
Terrible. I put the machine together used it for 10 seconds. Heard something weird in the body of the fan. Then it stopped working. Im assuming a band broke.
I've been trying to put this bike together with my husband and it's been impossible. The instructions are tiny, we need to use a magnifying glass and after 4 days we can't figure this out. We even tried YouTube and the instructions are worthless too. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
