CAP Barbell, 50lb Coated Hex Dumbbell, Single

I ordered barbells for my husband as a gift. I was super happy that I didn't have to buy individual barbells (they can in a pack of 2). I was also extremely happy with the price point, quick delivery, and quality of the product.

Having these type of dumbbells (40%23) x 2 makes it easier for bicicep/tricep and pull over exercises which is much easier than using weight plates, its safer and more economical.

I love all of caps products. They don't only look good, but they feel great and are extreme quality very durable all at a fair price point.

Both dumbbells were shipped separately due to the weight. However shipping company had issues with both. They ended up delivery the dumbbells without the boxes with a zip tag attached stating issue with boxes. One of the dumbbells ended having a chunk out of it. We kept as it would have been to difficult to send back.

Being lower priced, they have a much larger head size. But for the money, you can't beat them. Great value for the price.

All three sets(separate orders) have come in paper thin boxes in varying degrees of destruction. The last pair fully lost its box and it wasn't until I inquired with my FedEx driver that they finally arrived. And pretty well beaten up, too. Meh- they're weights so i kept them.

First off, these were shipped in the same thin cardboard box you'd mail something under a couple pounds in. Because these were 50lb weights, they tore the boxes to shreds. I picked one of them up and started carrying it to my gym. As I was walking, one of the weights fell straight off, almost landing on my foot. I would absolutely NOT recommend using these. It may have been from shipping damage, but any heavy weight constructed like this could seriously injure someone. And now I have to drive back to Walmart to return the pieces.

Fed Ex tossed delivery in puddle on driveway . Box broke open . Delivery instruction ON GATE, On Fed Ex App and Walmart app all read Please Deliver All Deliveries To Front Door and Please Ring Bell. Delivery on tape shows Fed Ex driver read sign and walk away. Photos reveal open box and damaged box. Unacceptable . Broken open box remains on driveway in rain . Walmart or Fed Ex can come get it . I will not accept delivery. Either it's picked up by Fed Ex or Walmart or it's stolen . Matters not to me . Stopped payment via credit card .

after the 5th use the rubber coating on the dumbbell cracked all the way around. I am stuck looking for a solution to fix this so I can continue using them. I am not hard on them, just basic use. Low quality,

I cannot give this item a true review because I never received it. It was undelivered after a month and so I received a refund. I reordered a similar item which was supposed to be delivered on 12/13/24. It is now 01/0525 and I have still not received it. Walmart needs to address the issues they have been having with their shippers. Very poor effort Walmart!
