I like them very well. The only thing is that they don't tell you how to shut them off. I surmise that if opening them turns them on, shutting them must turn them off, but it doesn't say that on the box.

For the money the lantern was a great deal. The light was bright, and the lantern was easy to handle. I have not had it long enough to rate the battery. But so far overall great item.
