I have used Super Tech products from Walmart for many years and I have never been disappointed! All of my vehicles have made it well past 200,000 miles, probably over 300,000 as next owners probably ran them much longer. As far as I am concerned, Super Tech products compare equally with name brand products of a higher cost.
Unless you have a high-end luxury or performance vehicle, and you change your oil in regular manufacturer suggested intervals, this oil is the way to go. High enough quality at an excellent price that allows you to change your oil at shorter intervals, which is ultimately the way to go — again, unless your vehicle is high-end luxury or performance based, you're good-to-go!
Switched from Mobil 1 to Super Tech for our daily drivers. I have a 2005 Toyota Sequoia (260k miles) and a 2006 Toyota Tundra (220k miles) and change the oil and filter at 5,000 mile intervals. I've used this oil for the last 4 or 5 oil changes now (so 20-25k miles) and haven't noticed any differences between the more expensive Mobil 1 oil I used to swear by. This oil is a great value for the money, and seems to be doing well in my vehicles. My only small gripe is that I'm not a very big fan of the paper/plastic seal that is under the lid, you need to be a bit more careful with it when removing it so that none of it falls in to the container itself. Apart from that, I have no complaints!
Great motor oil!! I've been using Super Tech oils in my car for over a decade (started with semi-synthetic, but moved to full synthetic many years ago). I make sure to get a good quality oil filter, one made for synthetic oil. I change my oil every 5k miles, I've now got over 235,000 miles on my car, and I'm still getting almost 28 mpg on my 2001 Honda Civic!! And that's delivering pizzas and running errands around town! If you want great motor oil at a good price ANY of the Super Tech Synthetic oils are excelent!
I only use super tech full synthetic oil in all my cars ! I change my vehicles oils every 5,000 miles or once a year. I get great mileage and at a great price! The value compared to all other named brand synthetic oils is outstanding ! I will only use this oil, Period !
Great oil just change it at 5k and your engine will love you don't go 20k search on you tube project farm channel and check out his videos on super tech oil very good scientific proof that this is quality oil up there with the top brands save your money and use this stuff change your own oil and your car will pay you back with longevity!
You really don't need any other oil, unless you're driving a very high-performance vehicle that requires very specific additives. Lots of online comparisons, especially 'Project Farm' on YouTube, has shown there's almost no discernable difference between Super Tech oil and other oil brands. This is cost-effective, good-quality oil that is almost always in stock.
i do oil analysis' regularly on all my vehicles and this oil is great for the price. The additive package in this oil is nearly identical to Mobil 1. I've personally ran this oil for decades without issue. mo
This is my go to oil, for both of our Honda's. A 20111 %26 2012. Full synthetic Dexos 1 gen2 certfied. Best price around. I use this and Honda OEM filters.
personally for my older prius pure synthetic oil is no good. especially this oil which the youtuber oil geek recommended as just as good as name brands. but in my case it increased engine noise, burned fast. it may work well for others, but its for high mileage vehicles and its their top oil. imo older toyotas fare much better with valvoline high mileage synthetic blend. its more effective than Pennzoil platinum or any top synthetic. if it works for your vehicle then carry on. if you want something more effective then valvoline is best bet.
