Swanson Activated Charcoal Capsules, 260 mg, 120 Count

Activated charcoal really relieved my gas & bloating overnight. I was uncomfortable but one dose worked great! I did hear that it can effect any oral medication you are taking or prevent it from working. Make sure you ask your doctor.

We purchased these to do our own face masks with elmers glue and also to try the teeth whitening. They worked out great and I will definitely purchase these again!

Gave it 4 stars only beacuse it comes in caps instead powder. I use it for bleakhead mask, whitening teeth and socking fruit and veggies.

Works well with Elmer's glue as a peel off mask.

These are such a needed staple. In the old days when some one would ingest any medications they shouldnt, to many and or had a reaction, the hospitals would administer 500ml activated charcoal. The hospitals take a much more lengthy, painful and expensive approach now. So I like to keep in my 1st aid kit for emergencies.

Using these along with ACV program to manage gut and intestinal health. For me, as I read cautions about how "quickly" this could work to clean out system, I was leary, then I read how it could also cause constipation. The first time I took one capsule and the results were not substantial. Next time I took 2 capsules and it was about the same, however, I did notice since both times I have less bloating and a flatter stomach area. I also read not to do this for a prolonged period of time. Cautiously, I will use once a week to keep on top of intestinal health without using a strong and potentially harmful colon cleanse. This charcoal helped me get over a stomach issue , I had eaten some cut a fruit from a grocery store, I think it had bacteria in it , this helped get rid of this, took 2 3 times a day for about 5 days , really helped ! I always take charcoal when I think I have a stomach bug which is not often it helps absorb the bad stuff from it , would recommend this charcoal!

what activated charcoal is supposed to do is absorb toxins out of the body by Dr living good so I got me some and this is my third bottle I don't take it everyday but I believe it works

I did a 3-day cleanse here while back. They suggested using activated charcoal to help prevent gas. Either I didn't have much gas or these definitely did their job.
