I cannot take the tart taste of regular vitamin c tablets. I can take the capsules with ease
Easy to swallow and they go yo work quickly.
I prefer gel caps. This product delivers it!
I love this buffered C. It never causes stomach upset, like other brands that are not buffered. The capsule is a little too big for me, so I just open up 2 capsules, add to some applesauce. I won't take any other vit C. The price is great too. Thanks Swanson!
My Naturopath recommended I take a buffered or ester-C because I was having stomach discomfort. Have been taking this product for a long time; recently decided to start with 1,000 but most are in tab form and/or are not buffered. Whoops, I'm back to this form.
My Husband and I have been taking this buffered C with bioflavonoids for quite a few years and really like it - get your vitamin C and flavonoids together!\nSince we each take them twice daily, this bottle of 100 caps only lasts 25 days. I wish that Swanson would offer it in a larger size = perhaps 250 in a bottle.
Good to take Vit C
I have purchased Swanson Vitamin C capsules numerous times, and all too often the powder in the capsules is a mixture of dark and light, indicating oxidation. I was told this doesn't affect the potency, but I'd rather just buy one that doesn't have this problem. So I gave up on Swanson vitamin C.
Too many of Swanson's vitamins all look the same. Same size, same color, and when I pack my vitamins for on a trip, some of the vitamins are taken differently than others, but it is easy to get them mixed up. I believe it would be a good idea for Swanson to have different identifying marks on them.
I used this regularly in part because it had no magnesium stearate. But recently they put magnesium stearate in it, which causes me leg cramps at night. I did not know they had put magnesium stearate in it but I started having cramps and checked al my supplements and there it was. Quit this and my leg cramps quit. Found other sources of C with no stearates.Swanson had a study done that showed Magnesium sterates causes no harm. I see lots of such studies that later are not correct.I love Swanson except for the fact that they are putting stearates into many supplements that previously had none
