Excellent thyroid support! Good for Energy and weight management.
This is a good product. I can't say anything bad about it. I would recommend taking it on after eating because it made me nauseous otherwise.
This supplement is mostly B vitamins, minus Biotin, (which I can't imagine why they left out). These B's are duplicated in my multi vitamin/mineral, and in my B complex capsule so I usually take B vitamins several times a day. This is okay with me as the B's are water soluble and most don't last the whole day at levels I like. Pricewise this supplement is quite a bit more expensive than Swanson's comparable B-complex vitamins in capsules; why I don't know. They have added iodine, copper, and zinc here, which I like, and L-Tyrosine, which I wouldn't miss if weren't there. These sups, too, are mostly redundant for me though. All that said I like taking this supplement. Since I've begun taking a bit of T-3 daily I've begun taking one of these at night instead of a B-complex.
I took this for body temp, during stressful times my body tends to drop. As for as 94.9 at times. This stuff help keep that from happening. Infact, my body temp stay around 97.0 sense i started its treatment. But follow the instructions, once i took it on a empty stomach ,got very sick. But great product.
I have been on this product for a month now, and use this with another product. When I forget to take this supplement, I notice how I feel run down, and just not as great as normal. I truly have seen results using this product with mixed supplements. Can't live without it.
before i started taking the thyroid essentials i was lethargic and hungry all the time. i couldn't figure it out, food making me tired. now that i take them, twice a day with meals, i feel a lot better, and i've lost a few pounds. it's only been a month, but i hope to lose a few more pounds.
From my research to help my own thyroid, I find this formula contains everything I need to support thyroid function and detoxification. Along with a multiple, I have the dosages that I need. It saves me having to buy a lot of different supplements to get the amounts I need. Swanson did their homework.
I took this for a month, and didn't think it was really doing anything. WHEN I ran out, I was hungry all the time! I'm not sure what the deal is with this, but if taken daily, it helped me not eat as much during the day. I've reordered, that's for sure!
I have been taking this for years...but, have just become aware of something....magnesium oxide and zinc oxide are the least absorbed in the body....I can't believe I had no idea....I thought I was getting enough of these minerals and now I have to add zinc and magnesium in better absorbed compounds....I just don't understand why Swanson would use such inferior compounds when, for a small amount of money, it can be made with better compounds....
I was intrigued by this supplement and decided to purchase a couple of bottles in hopes that it would help balance my energy and maybe up my sluggish thyroid a bit, but unfortunately I was very underwhelmed with the results. The product is just okay and is vastly overpriced when compared to just about any B-Complex supplement (which has the same core components without the few little added extras of this pill, most of which you wouldn't miss if they weren't there). I adore Swanson's and will continue buying their products religiously, but I won't be re-purchasing this one again in the future. Also, the recommended 1 pill 2x's a day dosage did not do nill for me. Taking both at once seemed to be the key to getting any sort of 'boost' from these.
